Didn't the directors read the books?
Example: Okay it says in the book that this person lived and found the treasure. BORING lets instead kill the character and then the main character can go on a killing spree.
Why This Is Annoying: *cough* Percy Jackson *cough*. Sorry thought I had something in my throat. Anyways, what the frick. Do what the book tells you. For example Hunger Games. I want to see a relationship form between the Mayor's Daughter and Katniss. I want to see Katniss have a panic attack when she sees the girl Anox because she realized what the games actually mean. Read. The. Books.
