Example: Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, Silent Hill, That one Mario Movie made back in like the 90s or whatever.

The reason why Video Game movies suck is that you are not interacting with it anymore. When you were playing the game YOU were the main character. When that was taken away the excitement is not there anymore.
