The river is quite clear, the waters are blue and glittery, the sun is above my head, what's interesting is the figure beside my shadow"the pot" it seems to fit on my head then all of a sudden an illusion like man appears, I have never seen him before, he's not a warrior nor is he from our land, his skin mares with the mud below the river, his skin tends to look like Kay apple ts yellowish and bright. Am light skinned but he tends to put that to shame, my tone looks like that of a young eucalyptus tree bark. He keeps on coming and disappearing he is not clear but I can tell he's a male from his features. Then I see my mother next to the pot she seems to be like a bridge between us.

A loud scream got me from my vision. I woke up with a worried face, my heart beating faster than a wild beast stampede. Could it be from my father? Has he decided to leave the living and join the ancestors?,is my tribe under attack,so many questions ran through my mind. So I decided to see what was happening and who would let that scream.

Outside the villagers and elders gathered around patiently awaiting for the news.
I saw maimo one of the women who were married to vango tribe as a way to merge and form an alliance with them after my fathers attack, what could be so urgent that she left her village miles away to come back home? Why does she have her belongings with her?

"I am a widow,my husband died during their hunt,a seer had foresaw the coming of blemished men with fire in their hands, the tribe burnt her alive since she was not originally from the tribe they burnt her alive. They said that anyone with witch blood does  deserve to die. My husband was brought home with a hole on his head. It did not look like an arrows wound,he was buried three days after and the tribe made sure I went through cleansing, it was a horrible ritual, they said that for me to be cleansed I had to be the warrior's woman, any warrior that needed release would plainly come to me so as to please my husbands soul. I ran away, i am pleading to you my tribes men to overlook at my pain and let me die in my homeland, I don't care if I will be the palace maid or the villagers rag but let me die and be buried on my birth land!" Maimo pleaded while tears steaming down her face.

My brother the crown prince decided that she shall be welcomed back but she will be one of the village servants. I headed to my mothers hut, I found her tending to my father. She was cleaning his body with herbs, she knew that anytime I visited her hut I was in distress, she knew of my night mares and she helped me understand some. Today I told her of my vision and she had a worried look in her face as if she knew what the dream meant, I hated having family members in my visions since they end up dying, 3 years back I saw my grandmother in one of my visions and she was struggling to touch my eyes and in the next market day she died, seeing my mother in this one was a bad sign.

"My daughter do not stress yourself, i am perfectly fine, I have no ailment neither am I weak. That vision only asks of you to be prepared your destiny awaits, it may start sooner than you expect it. I had a vision and it has bloodshed in it, you should prepare yourself train the warriors well, I had of maimos predicament and as I know child you want to interfere and take justice in your hands, your stubbornness will only create war but the ancestors are with you and whatever you decide to do they will always protect you." My mother whispered.

My parents have been married for the longest of time but my mother has hidden her sight well no one has been able to discover that she can see the future and talk to the dead. Her telling me and warning me of the attacks does not change my revenge they have it coming and coming in when least expected.

Somewhere in kibiko mission camp.
