Ansel had dropped his clothes in a hamper and slid out of his boxers the second he got home. He crawled into his bed and prepared to nap. The second his head hit the pillow he was out. He was hoping to dream of good things but that fell through instantly. In his dream He stood in the doorway of a garden room, watching a younger version of himself eating a plum. He remembered this place. It was a day he'd never forget. The memory took place in Sylvestine Palace. All of the creatures of the night would gather and dance, putting all feuds and differences aside. They dined together once every Blood Moon. Tension was still heavy in the air but no one would act out on it. Ansel wasn't big on dinner parties so he stole a couple of plums and ran out to the garden. He didn't know that the far wandered there during the Blood Moon. Ansel didn't pay much attention to the young Fae girl that had begun to inch closer to him from the bunch of Elephant Ears clustered to the right of him. He sat down at the edge of a pool, taking his shoes off and letting his feet get wet in the water. It had lily pads and some type of cane that he enjoyed sucking on from time to time. "Do you like the pond?" The girl asked stepping up behind him. Ansel was startled but nodded he took a bite of his plum and glanced back at the Fae girl. He blushed and dropped his plum stunned by her beauty, she giggled and the plants behind her grew larger. Ansel stared at her wings in sheer amazement. He didn't realize how rude he was being and let his eyes drink in the beauty of it all. "It's wrong to stare." She said quietly. Ansel slowly looked back to the pond. "What's your name?" He asked taking a bite out of the second plum he had brought. "My names C'Anne." She said while sitting down beside him. She dunked her feet into the pond with a splash, not caring that she was getting their clothes wet. Ansel didn't let it slide as easily. "My dads going to rip off your ugly blue wings if you don't watch it." C'Anne sat still staring into the water. "I'm sorry." She finally said, while standing up. Ansel shrugged and continued to eat his plum. "It's okay, I guess." He replied. She stood behind him peering over his head at their reflections in the pond. "Do you like the pond?" She asked again, her eyes turning a silver. Ansel furrowed his brow and nodded. She smiled and her canines had taken a sharp edge to the points. "Good, because it's deep." She spat the words out as hateful as she could before pushing Ansel into the pond. Ansel's true form erupted from him taking the reins of life or death and began to kick in the water. He hopped onto the ledge and pulled himself out of the water. He whines and shot passed the Fae girl he'd remember as C'Anne.
