Team 9

Prologue (sort of)

Chapter1: (Naruto's voice) Enter! Naruto Uzumaki!

We see a blonde haired kid running while laughing, in the background we can hear angry shouts. The kid was wearing an orange jumpsuit, with the upper part hanging around his waist, a black t-shirt, blue sandals and googles on his forehead. He was carrying a bucket of paint. This kid was Naruto Uzumaki. We now are able to see two men running after Naruto, the angry shouts apparently coming from them.

"NARUTO!" one of them shouted.

We can see the two unnamed men chasing Naruto around a village, the shinobi village of Konoha, with Naruto laughing all the while.

"Give up! You can't catch me!" Said Naruto

We can now see what Naruto did to enrage the men: he had painted the faces carved on the cliffside of a mountain, which explains why he was carrying a bucket of paint.

"Naruto! Where are you?!" said the other man as they jumped past a wooden fence. Apparently, Naruto had managed to loose them.

"That was to easy!" said Naruto, coming out from behind a blanket he had used to camouflage himself with the fence.

"Is that so Naruto?!" said a voice, apparently of another man, from behind Naruto. He was dressed in a similar outfit of the other two men, this brown haired, dark skinned man was Iruka Umino, Naruto's teacher.

"Ahhh! Where did you come from?!" Said a startled Naruto once he turned around and saw his teacher. "What are you doing here Iruka sensei?"

"No, what are YOU doing here?! You should be in the academy" answered Iruka

We now see a fairly simple building with a single wooden swing in its backyard. Inside the building, we can see Naruto, who is tied up, being scolded by Iruka.

"This is your third time taking the test, and you are wasting the opportunity! Now, because of what you did, everyone will have to practice the transformation jutsu!" To this, everyone groaned.

After an incident involving Naruto using his "Sexy Jutsu" to prank Iruka, and being scolded afterwards, we now see Naruto cleaning the faces on the mountain that he had previously painted.

"Come on! This is too boring!" said Naruto

"You won't go until you clean every single drop of paint" said Iruka seriously from atop of the face Naruto was currently cleaning.

"And so what?! It's not as if someone was expecting me back home!" snapped Naruto

Iruka was quiet for some time until finally, he spoke up

"Naruto" he began

"What do you want now sensei" interrupted Naruto

"Well" Iruka continued "I was thinking, maybe, after you clean this up, I could treat you to some ramen, sounds good don't you think so?"

After a few seconds of silence, Iruka looked down at Naruto to see him beaming at him. That night Iruka and Naruto ate some ramen and exchanged thoughts, ending with both of them laughing.

The next day, Iruka started the exam.

"OK, the exam will consist of the clone jutsu, when I mention you step into the exam room"

"That's my worst technique!" Naruto murmured

"Don't worry, you'll be fine! We have been practicing a lot after all" said the white haired kid beside him. Raitoningu Furasshu.

"Hope so Rai, hope so" Naruto simply said

Unfortunately for Naruto, when his turn came he wasn't able to create a complete clone and just managed a 'dead' clone. This failure left him as the only student to not graduate.

When the other children's parents came, they were all happily congratulating their children. Some would look at Naruto, who sat on the wooden swing with a depressed look, mostly with cold and/or hateful looks. Raitoningu, with his new forehead protector tied firmly around his forehead, approached his friend.

"Hey, you OK?" asked Raitoningu, immediately feeling like an idiot. Of course he wasn't OK, he had failed the exam again.

"Yeah, don't worry about me, your parents are calling you just go ahead" answered Naruto without looking up

Raitoningu seemed to hesitate before sighing and looking at Naruto with a defeated look.

"OK man, if you need anything just ask" and with that, Raitoningu left with his family.

A few minutes after Raitoningu left, Mizuki, another of Naruto's teachers approached Naruto and told him that he could still graduate if he stole a scroll. Long story short, Mizuki lied to Naruto and wanted the scroll for himself, almost killing Naruto and Iruka, who was looking for Naruto along with all the other ninja, in the process. After Mizuki told Naruto the truth, of Naruto having the Ninetails inside of him, and Iruka showing Naruto that he cared about him, an enraged Naruto saved Iruka by beating Mizuki with his newly learned Shadow Clone jutsu. After everything was over Iruka gave Naruto his forehead protector, telling him that he had officially graduated from the academy.

AN: Soooo, no real change here aside from briefly introducing Raitoningu. The only reason I wrote this was because I didn't know how to start it.
