LOS ANGELES, CA: Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015: The Fall Of The City Of Angels
Jonah Sat Up in His Bed And Rubbed His Eyes. Good Morning Los Angeles, He Said Sleeply. Jonah Got Up, Got Dressed And Went Downstairs To Find Kyle Sitting At The Kitchen Table Eating Blurberry Pancakes, And Their Mom, Mary, Sitting Across From Him Drinking Coffee. Morning Honey, His Mom Said. Morning, Jonah Said. He Then Walked Over To Kyle And Rubbed His Hair. Morning Pipsqueak, He Said Jokingly. Morning J, Kyle Said. J Was Jonah's Nickname Because Kyle Didn't Know How To Say His Name Yet. Jonah Sat Down At The Table And Listened To The News. "There Have Been Numerous People Attacking Others Throughout The City And Across The State. The Governor Of California, Michael Catsby Has Stated That There's Nothing To Fear, And That All Californians Should Continue Their Day As Normal." Jonah's Mom Scoffed. Yeah Right She Said. Mom, Jonah Said Looking At The Clock, We're Gonna Be Late For School. Oh! Right, His Mom Said. Okay Kids Get Your Backpacks And Wait in The Car, I Need To Do Something Before We Leave. Okay Mom, Jonah And Kyle Both Said Before Heading Out The Door. When They Left Mary Grabbed Her Talisman And Said A Short Prayer, And Went Out The Door. They Got in The Car, And As Mary Started To Back Up, A LAPD Police Cruiser Came Speeding Down The Street. Woah! Jonah And Michael Said in Astonishment. What Was That About? Jonah Asked. I Don't Know, Mary Said. What Kyle And Jonah Didn't Know Was That Mary Had An Idea Of Where That Cop Was Going. Mary Put The Car into Reverse And Backed Out Of The Driveway. Their Route Would Take Them into Downtown, And Into West Hollywood Where Kyle Went To School. The Car Pulled Up Along The Curb in front of Rosewood Avenue Elementary School. It Was A Fairly Built School, A U.S And California Flag Waved Out infront Of The Red Brick Building. Kyle Hopped Out And Kissed His Mother on The Cheek And Hugged Jonah. Have A Good Day, Honey! Mary Called. Kyle Waved And Headed inside. The Next Stop Was Jonah's High School in East L.A, Fredmont Hill High School. Unlike Kyle's School, Fredmont Is A School For Kids Who Have A Hard Time Focusing And Who Can't Be in A Regular Classroom Enviroment. Jonah Was Picked On Alot In School And He Once Threw A Chair At A Student. He Got Suspend 4 Times And He's Been Threatened With Expulsion. When The Car Approached The Curb, Jonah Was About To Get Out Before Mary Stopped Him. Jonah, She Began. Don't Start With That, Jonah Said. Besides i Know What Your Going To Say, i Need To Go Here Because I Can't Be In A Normal Classroom Enviorment. And If I Was, i Couldn't Handle It Because i Can't Focus And i Have A Short Temper. That's Part Of It, Mary Said. The Other Half Jonah, Is Because This is The Only School i Could Find in The Whole City That Would Take You. Mary Grabbed His Hand And Look At Him in His Crystal Blue Eyes. Did i Ever Tell You How Much You Look Like Your Dad? She Said. Yes, You Tell Me This Everytime You Drop Me Off, Jonah Said. Then The School Bell Rung. I Gotta Leave, Jonah Said Opening The Car Door. Okay, Mary Said. And Jonah, Mary Said As He Was Walking, Causing Him To Turn Around. Be Nice, And Have A Good Day Okay? She Said Smiling. Okay, He Said. Love You Mom, See You After School. Bye Jonah, She Said. And With That, He Walked into School.
