Survive

Bright orange and red flames rose high in the sky as screams from the innocent villagers filled the night. The pirates flooding through the streets as if they owned them, pillaging their way through the night.

She was stood on the magnificent ship, watching all of it unfold before her eyes and hoping that her love would return from the ablaze city. Her father had also joined the horrendous pillage but she worried not. Several times he had survived a pillage but this was her love's first and she feared greatly for his life, feeling lost as she waited for his return.

In the year she had known him, many words and confessions of love had been shared

Finally, she recognised one of the men to walk aboard the ship to be her love, the known warm feeling surging its way through her body.

She ran towards him only to be stopped by the stern look that grazed his handsome face. She realised her stupidity. They were a secret, a secret that couldn't be shared; their life depending on their ability the keep the forbidden love they shared a secret.

Still, he seemed just as eager as her to be in each other's arms and together, they swiftly disappeared out of the public eye as they entered his private cabin.

He took of his shirt and laid down on his bed, prompting her to lie down with him. She cuddled up to him and rested her hand on his muscular chest, humming a soft tune and playing with his chest hair. He broke the comfortable silence that had once filled the room.

"I really love you, you know. I want to spend every minute I can just holding you, kissing you and loving you. You're all I can think about."

She gazed into his eyes, silently expressing her love to him as she leaned down to kiss him. The kiss was passionate and made the feeling in their chest pulse as she climbed on top of him, effectively deepening the kiss.

That night, the love they shared blossomed into a full flower as they shared a passionate night together.
