Sadie stepped out of the school building. The fresh breeze hitting her face. Freedom was the first word that came to mind when she stepped out of that hell hole and right into Summer Vacation.
She smiled at the thought of just hanging out at the quarry with her friends or going to the movies. She smiled at the thought of everything. But that would come crashing down right in front of her eyes and she didn't even know that the Losers Club would change her life, forever.
The Losers rushed right passed her and dumped all of their textbooks and notes from throughout the school year into the nearest trash.
"Best feeling ever," Stan said with a sigh of relaxation.
"Yeah?" Richie asked. "Try tickling you pickle for the first time."
Sadie shaking her head walked over to the Losers. "Hey." She smiled and waved.
They all waved back except for Richie, he always had something to say. "Well hello, Gorgeous. Hope your plans for the summer are to do me." He smirked.
Sadie pretended to not even hear his blunt comment. Eddie quickly changes the subject, feeling very uncomfortable considering the fact that Sadie is his cousin. "What do you guys wanna do tomorrow?"
Richie looked at him. "I start my training."
Eddie gave him a look. "What training?" he asked mysteriously.
"Streetfighting," Richie said seriously.
Eddie looked at him more concerned, "Is that how you wanna spend your summer, locked in the arcade?"
"Better than being inside your mother." He put his hand up for a high five. Sadie's face contorted into a disgusted look. Stan puts his hand down. "Guys what if we go to the quarry?"
Bill butts in, "Guys we can g-go to the b-barrens."
Stan nods understandingly, "Right."
Eddie looks away from the group, "Betty Ripsom's mom."
Betty Ripsom is a girl who has been missing for over a week now. Every day after school her mother is waiting for a chance that she might show up or come to her with bearing arms. That she would have her child back.
"Does she really expect her to come out of the school?" Stan asked.
"Hope is better than anything Stan the Man." Sadie sighed.
"Do you think they'll find her?" Stan asked us.
Richie was the first to talk. "Sure, in a ditch all decomposed with maggots and worms, smelling like Eddie's mom's underwear."
Sadie scoffed. "Shut up." Eddie sighed. "So freaking disgusting," Eddie whispered.
Bill looked at Richie, "She's not dead, she's m-m-missing."
"Sorry Bill, she's missing." He fixed his glasses. "You know the barrens aren't that bad."
Bill started to walk and the rest of the Losers followed him.
"Who doesn't like splashing around in shitty water." Richie added. After that remark, Henry Bowers grabbed him by his back-pack and launched him backward. knocking him into Stan. The second bully took Stan's kippot and threw it like a frisbee.
"Fuckin Losers." The kid said.
The third burped in Eddie's face and pushed him towards Bill. The fourth bumped into Bill and called him a "Loser".
"You s-s-s-suck Bowers!" Bill exclaimed.
Sadie turned around and added, "Why can't you get a life, Bowers?"
"Shut up Bill, Shut up Sadie." Eddie lowly told us.
Henry turned around and look at Bill, "You s-s-s-s-say something B-b-b-b-billy?" Then he proceeded to look at Sadie, "What about you , Slutty Sadie?"
Henry walked away before saying, "This summer is going to be a pain train for you and your faggot friends."
And boy was he right.
