It was like they never exchanged that night. It was like their whole conversations never happened. Nothing ever happened. Richie slipped away at 5:30 in the morning to go home. No note.

He doesn't like me, Sadie thought to herself, I mean who would like me?. Her negative comments about herself were making her more upset, so she stopped.

She stopped thinking about Richie Tozier.

Richie, on the other hand, couldn't stop thinking about her. He woke up and was very confused about where he was, but then it hit him. He was in Sadie Tyler's room and in bed with Sadie Tyler. He never wanted to leave but he had no choice, it's not like his parents would send the whole police force to search for Richie. His parents didn't care. They didn't care about how his day went or if he scored a 100 on his Global History Quiz. They only care that they get money out of him. They pretend he isn't even there half of the time. His mother is a drunk and his father is a workaholic. They were a perfect match.

Sadie's parents were the same, they were workaholics and barely noticed she was there, but they never hit her. Richie's mother is a mean drunk, which means she's very abusive when she drinks a lot. She usually takes her anger out on Richie. That's why none of Richie's friends were allowed at his house, he couldn't bear for the embarrassment of his drunken mother. He especially doesn't want Sadie around his mother.

But Sadie didn't listen, she needed an explanation to why Richie left so early and didn't even bother to leave a note. She was pissed. She was infuriated. Sadie rode her bike down to Richie's house. She threw her bike down on the sidewalk and stomped to the front door, she knocked on the door very hard.

Maybe he wasn't here. Sadie was about to walk away until she heard the front door unlock.

His mother was standing there, clearly hungover. "What the hell do you want?" Mrs. Tozier spat.

"Is Richie here?" Sadie squeaked, she was very intimidated by his mother.

"Hey Rich, some slut is here to see you!" Mrs. Tozier yelled.

"Excuse-" Sadie was cut off by someone running to the door, Richie appeared.

"S-Sadie?" Richie questioned. "Thanks, mom," Richie mumbled.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Mrs. Tozier slammed the door shut in front of Richie's face and locked it.

"Why are you here? You broke the number one rule for me!" Richie sighed. "Please, never do that again." He pleaded. Who knows what his mother might do to him now.

"I see why you don't like people here," Sadie mumbled."But, it's not my fault you left me in the morning, no note, hell you coul-" Richie cut her rambling off with a kiss. A kiss he wanted to last forever. There were sparks. His pale and cracked lips touched her soft and plump lips and it felt like nothing could ruin this great scene. Well besides Stanley Uris.

Stanley uncomfortable coughed, the two pulled apart extremely fast.

"Uh, Bill wants us at his house for a meeting." He mumbled.

"Next time get a room."
