It was early October and Matt and I were getting ready for our first day of school. We got backpacks, we got pencils and pens and notebooks. We became real kids.

Matt was already getting so much better, he has had one episode in the past week. And, trusting that I would be with him to calm him down if needed, Matt was so excited and so scared but we were going to be great, I could feel it.

"My little girl is starting school!" my dad hugged me from behind.

"Dad. I am 15 years old I have been going to school for 6 years already," I told him. I might have done some major catch up after I got back into the system

"I know but I haven't been there for half of them." He said smiling at me.

"Leave her to get ready for school tomorrow Noah, come help me." Mom told him from the kitchen.

"The wife is calling for me." He said letting go of me. I watched him walk over to my mom and give her a small peck.

For the first time since before I left, I finally felt like everything was falling into place. Matt was doing better, my parents were happy, and Red still had the twins and Apollo. We were all going to be okay.

But then,

The phone rang. (ODP:12/14/17)
