Luke smiles at me, showing off his white teeth that contrast his bright emerald green eyes.
"What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl" He states, making me blush.

My heart starts racing a million miles an hour. It was all worth it. Life will be worth it. This really is the emotion they call love. It's the true love at first sight, fairytale ending. I can't stop smiling, he is such a cutie. I really need to find out more about him. I decide to ask him more about his life as he is basically a complete stranger to me.

"Seems I now know your name. How old are you?" I ask, sure that he will answer.

"Sadly way too young for old for yourself." Luke laughs

"And that is? What 43?" I roll my eyes at him, attempting to sit up in the bed.

"Exactly, I never knew you would be able to guess my age that fast and accurately," Luke replies sarcastically with a grin, hopping onto the end of my bed to sit cross-legged before facing me again.

"Truth please," I beg with puppy eyes, trying not to giggle. His face flushes red causing him to face away from me for a couple of moments

"I'm 19, such a shameful age." Luke puts, "How about you? What's your age?"

"Much too young for you at the youthful age of 16." I sigh.

He stares at me shocked.

"Is.. this... for real?" He stutters as he asks, unsure of what to make of the situation. "That young?"

"Sadly. I guess that makes this a little awkward doesn't." I watch as Luke continues to blush as he scratches the back of his neck. I laugh awkwardly before also turning my face away. Except I turn my face to hide my grin.

I can't believe he actually fell for that. I guess it isn't too far off the correct answer and it could quite easily be believable.

"So. My question is... How were you a part of the war, if you are that young?" Luke asks, confused. "Is it just how your side dealt with enlisting people? And that your side also let women participate in it? Ours didn't, as you may have noticed. Sorry if I have somehow offended you." He inquires, cocking his head to the side.

"It's alright. First off I am 18 not 16, I was trying to joke but you actually believed it." I state carefully watching for his reaction.

He stares at me in shock before giving off a cute boxy smile, that is clearly contagious because I smile back.

"'Damn you really," Luke chuckles, "You really had me fooled didn't you, Chloe?"

"I guess that's what I am good at." I declare before wincing.

"What's wrong?" Luke asks, concerned. I just shake my head at him indicating I am fine.

"I just tried to bend my broken leg. Not fun. But nothing I can't survive through." I sigh.
