Chapter Seven: Pushing Back (Lily's POV)

I looked at Cherry, she was all glowy. She now had her hair down and parted nicely with a pink cherry barrette. She had on a white short sleeve shirt with shoulder dips and a light pink skirt. "Well that's something you don't see everyday..." I said. "What's happened to my OCs? Alex has beaten people way stronger than this guy." I said looking at Darkberry. "He's made a controller to control them, he found the place with all of there information and made a controller so they can't get in the way." Just then 'Bob' stood up and pulled something out of his pocket.
"Cherry destroy the controller!!!" I shouted. She looked at her hands and pushed them outwards and bright pink energy shot out and started melting the controller as it fell out of his hand. Alex woke up and weakly pushed herself to her knees. She then healed Lunar Face and energized Crazy Child before passing out again. I sighed. Alex was probably my strongest OC, but also the most selfless. I also had more OCs than these three, but I am guessing they probably where doing something else, then got pushed away with the crowd.
     Lunar Face turned into her cat form and arched her back, fur bristling.  Crazy Child's spirit in OC Central took the form of her human self, but we where in some other world now.  Her animatronic form was much more powerful and aggressive.  Crazy Child and Lunar Face looked at each other, they both nodded.  Lunar face attacked 'Bob's' face.  While Crazy Child teleported behind him and puppet strings appeared in her hands.  She proceeded to let them wrap and tangle 'Bob' just as he whacked Lunar Face off with his axe.  Lunar Face yowled with pain.  I ran over too her and picked her up.  'Bob' continued to use his blaster to fire at me.  I dodged them and jumped for cover behind some rocks, holding Lunar Face in a way the fall would not hurt her much, but mid air 'Bob' shot one more time as I saw Darkberry kick the blaster out of his hand.  The power blast was getting closer, I watched it until I saw it hit my forehead.  I clutched Lunar Face tightly and tried to prepare myself as I shot backwards.  Then I lost consciousness.
     I started coming back to reality with a rough feeling running over my cheek.  I opened my eyes to see Princess Alex, Cherry (back in her normal form), and DarkBerry standing over me.  Lunar Face was still in her cat form, licking my face to give me consciousness.  Alex reached her hand down, I grabbed it and she pulled me up, she was so little yet so strong. "What happened?" I stated to no one in particular. Darkberry spoke up. "After you blacked out I knocked out 'Bob'." Then Cherry added "And Alex woke up and healed herself and then all of us." "Glad to see you got a little common since Alex!" I teased. "Hey! It's not my fault! You made me!" She said with a smile. "Cherry the things you did with that amulet where amazing!" She nodded. "It was pretty cool wasn't it!" Darkberry groaned. I looked around "Where's Crazy Child?" Alex teleported us to behind Crazy Child and pointed. I almost threw up.
"Crazy Child! What are you doing!"  She looked up and at us, mouth dripping with blood.  "What, you want some?"  She offered.  "You can't eat! Your a robot!"  "I know, I'm just making SURE he's dead, I wasn't eating him.  My mouth doesn't open wide enough to smash his skull so I just ripped his skin open and destroyed some of his internal organs."  "I guess I didn't specify how you could kill the night guard...".  I went over and wiped her mouth with a tissue I had in my pocket.  I searched his pockets for any identification or information on why he wanted me and Cherry.  I found a card that read "Adam Saverge, New Discoveries Lab".  I lowered my hand and said quietly "that must've been the abandoned lab under the hospital". 
     I took out my phone, I surprisingly had service.  I googled anything about the lab.  Nothing.  I then googled this man's name.  I found and old news article.  "Former lead scientist of credited lab, Adam Saverege, was shut down when one of his experiments almost exploded the whole city.  Adam swore he would "show us all what a great scientist he was" but hasn't been seen since the threat made last month."  The article was from 1987.  Exactly 30 years ago.  He must have been working on other dimensionally travel, but that doesn't explain why he wanted me in Cherry.  Maybe we where his way to test normal people verses others, or maybe he knew Cherry's connection with Darkberry and wanted to hurt her.
     "So, what now..." I said aloud.  "We should tell the police!" said Cherry.  "Are you crazy!  They'd think you're both out of your minds!" Darkberry shouted.  "She's got a point Cher, if we tell someone we got kidnapped by a mad scientist and ended up in another dimension with OCs, we'd be in a mental asylum before you can say pickles."  I said.  "But couldn't we bring an OC?" Cherry said.  "Then they would probably get experimented on."  I finished.  Alex jumped behind me.  "Not again!" She shouted.  I simply facepalmed. 
     "Alex, would you open a portal to the real world for us?"  "Sure!  To the airport I presume."  "Yes, thank you" I finished.  She opened the portal and smiled a little.  "Thank you for your help" she said.  "You too!"  I looked at them, "All of you".  I went up and hugged all my OCs.  "Oh!" Alex said.  "I almost forgot!" She made a necklace with a stone that swirled purple and pink.  She put it around my neck and said "in case you ever need us again, it can teleport you to anyone you know as long as they are continuous".  "Thank you Alex!"  I hugged her again.  Cherry and Darkberry gave  each other a courteous nod.  "Ready to go home Cher?" I noticed she was staring at the ground.  She looked up "Oh y-yah, let's go".  We walked through the portal, then turned and waved as it closed.
     Me and Cherry gave each other a hug and I started to cry.  "I'm so sorry Cherbear, I wanted this weekend to be amazing, instead it was horrible...".  She hugged me tight and said "it's not your fault, I'm just glad we got to meet".  "You still coming to visit me this summer?" I asked.  "I wouldn't miss it for the world..." she said, and with that I pulled her in for one last hug, then walked to my gate to go home.  I looked back as I got in line for the plane, tears still streaming.  We had just been through so much, and we could not tell anyone because they would never believe us. 
     Several people gave me weird looks because my clothes where dirty, burnt, and ripped.  Not to mention all my bandages that where bloody.  I managed to get a seat with no one next to me.  I do not nap, like ever, but my body was exhausted, physically and mentally.  I laid on the seats and tried to rest. I soon drifted to sleep.
I woke up in the dark, the only illuminated part was a path with splashes of red, and stones lining the outside of the path. I walked along the path. Then on some parts of the wall, memories popped up, my memories. I stopped to look at one. It was the time Faith tricked me about the party. I looked at one on the other side, it was when some kids where making fun of me. All of a sudden the voices in the memories got really loud. I covered my ears, half because it hurt because it was so loud, half because I never wanted to remember all these things.
I ran as fast as I could, sobbing, until I tripped, the path disappeared beneath me. I screamed as I fell into nothing. "UHHH" I hit something. It was still a dark grey-ish color. I lifted my head. There was a strange black creature, it has white eyes and tentacles along its back. It also walked on all fours. It had Cherry! It had a tentacle wrapped around her mouth so she could not scream. Tears ran down her face. I charged the thing. It quickly hit me aside with one of its tentacles. I hit the 'ground' and rolled. I pushed myself to my knees, seeing the words "You're next" appear in what looked like blood.
I jumped awake. My heart was pounding and I was breathing hard. The plane had already landed and most people where out. I ran out of the plane, kind of limping on my bad ankle. I ducked into the bathroom and touched my necklace. I was thinking of Alex, and POOF. I was back in OC Central. She was sweeping along with some other OCs who where cleaning up. "Alex! He's back! He has Cherry!" Alex drooped her broom, grabbed my hand and teleported to where Crazy Child killed Adam. There where bits of black sludge. "He was in my dream, he made me remember all these things, he had Cherry! He said I'm next! He's gonna hurt her!" I started hyperventilating. Alex grabbed my hand, and went to where Crazy Child and Lunar Face where talking. "Most of the OCs are still hiding." I heard Crazy Child say. "Good, keep them there, it's not safe." Alex said. "Where is Darkberry."
