Liao's POV

I groaned, as I slowly regained consciousness. I felt my mouth suddenly covered by a hand.

I saw that the hand belonged to Mercy. She pulled her hand away from my mouth, and put her index finger to her lips.

I nodded, just as I saw Pilot coming out of the vent. I then saw him freeze most of the vent with Mei's Endothermic Blaster.

"Don't worry. I let a small space, so we can breathe. . . Ah. I see Xiura has awoken," Pilot said.

"Why do people keep saying Xiura?! It's Liao!" I told them. "That's because. . ." Mercy trailed off.

"You should ask Tobjörn when we get back to base," Tracer simply told me.

I felt hurt, but I slowly nodded, indicating that I get what Tracer had meant.

We sat silently, as we hear footsteps coming in fast. I breathed in and out slowly in means of calming myself down.

"They're gonna find us. We gotta hide," Pilot suggested. I pointed to the vent.

"You do know we could've escaped through there," I said. There was a few seconds of silence, before they all face palmed.

"How are we so stupid?" Pilot said, before going into the vent. The others followed after him.

I went in last, and I wanted to burn my eyes. I was right behind Tracer, so her butt was sticking out for me to see.

Unfortunately, I can't swap, so we continued on, following Pilot, as if he knew where he was going.

We then suddenly stopped. "Things might get rough here," Pilot said, before I heard grunts and a metal sound, before the metal sounded as if it hit the ground.

"Let's go," Pilot said. We all followed him, and I soon realised how cold it was.

Luckily, we saw a helicopter in the distance, and super glad that it had the Overwatch symbol.

Out comes a woman who seemed to be from Egypt, holding onto a sniper rifle.

"So. You guys called?" Egypt Woman asked. We nodded. "Okay. C'mon in, you guys, we'll clear the base," she said.

Just as she said that, a man with a giant hammer came out of the helicopter, and also another Egypt girl, but noticeably younger, and has a jet pack.

I glanced at the others, who went into the helicopter. "I'll be helping in clearing them out," I told the three of them.

The six of them stared at me. "Soldier: 76 said that if I want to be qualified for Overwatch, I have to help," I said.

They still looked at me, but I then said, "Mercy, wanna come along? We can all expect casualties."

She then floated right beside me. "I'm with you, Xiura," she told me. I smiled hearing this.
