A local Mall in D.C.
After waiting pulling up in the parking garage to the mall, the Elites knew that it would only be a matter of time before they were caught again. "I've got an idea to get them off our trail. But I'll need a few things first. First off I'll need two extra sets of hands. I'll also need a USB, an Car Plug, and a female cable." Nic and Rob then went to grab the supplies while Jay and Nat went to examine the USB they had stolen.
Inside the mall, Nat asked Jay "Why are we checking this USB in the mall when we could just have Zach go through it?" Jayson then responded "If Zach were to hack it, IATO would have our location within seconds and we would be dead before we even unlock it. This entire mall is on the same server and IP Address, making it slower. IATO will have to work a lot harder to find us here, hopefully buying us enough time to find out what's on it and escape. And considering everything we just went through, there must be something big happening that they don't want us knowing about." Nat then said "How did things get so complicated so quickly? We're only 15 and we're already neck deep in some huge conspiracy that could uproot the entire world." Jay then replied "Things like this were never simple. It's just part of the job."
Meanwhile in the garage, Zach had his hands on everything he needed to begin his plan. "Nic, I need you to find an inconspicuous car. And get it ready to go because we're out of here once Jay and Nat come back." He handed her a key fob and she left. "Rob I need your hands. Hold these two cables." Rob then took the two cables while Zach soldered them together. "Almost there.." Zach said as he plugged the car plug into the port underneath the steering wheel. He then took the new drive and plugged it into his ear. He then took out the USB and plugged it into the loose cable.
In the Computer Store at the mall, Jay plugged the USB into one of the laptops and attempted to decrypt the files while Natalie stayed on lookout. "You're on the clock so pick up the pace." She said. Jay continued to run decryptions, but each one lead to a dead end. "Nothing's working! They all just put me back at square one." Nat then said "Try tracing the origin of the encryption. Maybe we can get that person to decrypt it too." Jay then tried this new process. Nat was still standing lookout when she noticed a tall man with green eyes and black hair on the escalator. He was wearing tactical gear and was carrying a pistol in his left holster. "Barnes is here. They found the drive. Get out of there right now." "Sh*t. I'm not done yet." Jay whispered under his breath. Barnes quickly noticed Jay in the computer store, but Nat was nowhere in sight. She had already escaped by blending in with a family nearby, and then running. The Colonel then walked towards the shop. A few seconds later, Jay finally got the location and unplugged the drive. Before reaching the shop, a group of people walked in front of him. "Out of the way!" Barnes yelled as he forced his way through the crowd. By the time he reached the shop, Jayson was nowhere to be found. "I lost visual. But The Elites are here at the mall. Lock it down and send reinforcements." Barnes said into a walkie talkie.
Everyone was waiting outside in a grey minivan when Jay finally came out. "What took you so long?" Robert asked. "I ran into some issues. Jordan Barnes was there. He almost found me. But they know we're here. I hope your plan works Zach; we need that distraction." Jay said. Zach replied "None of my plans have ever failed, and its not gonna fail now." Above, the mall, helicopters were flying above searching the entire mall. Police cars covered the entire building. The Elites then started the stolen van and left the scene through the only entrance there, which would be blocked off seconds later.
In the parking garage, SWAT teams were closing in on the Black Cadillac. After a few minutes they had it surrounded. Just as they went to open the door, the engine sprang to life. The soldiers then jumped out of the way as the car rushed out. The IATO agents nearby then radioed HQ, and the soldier then said "They're making a run for it. Do we have clearance to pursue?" Pirch then responded "They are an imminent threat to us and the public. You may engage, but shoot to kill. I need our info to be kept safe." The police then chased after the car as it continued to head west.
On the highway, he Cadillac kept going, with no sign of stopping. The police raced behind it until they received an order from the helicopter following closely behind. "Pull back all units." The police cars all fell back as the helicopter continued to pursue. From above, the helicopter then fired a rocket at the SUV. The car swerved to narrowly dodge the explosion. The helicopter fired another rocket right after. The Cadillac burst into the air and rolled over on it's side, engulfed in flames. On the ground, police cars pulled up on the damaged vehicle. Out of one of the SUVs came Barnes. He walked up to the damaged black car, and opened the door. To his everybody's surprise, the truck was empty. There was no trace of the Elites. But as he opened the door he triggered a mechanism that caused the fuel tank to be punctured, and gasoline poured into the fire. The Colonel then jumped out of the car and away as it blew. The Elites were gone.
Meanwhile on a different road, the Elites continued to drive casually. "Did you get what we need?" Zach asked. Jay replied "No. I couldn't access the files, but I was able to trace the location of the original encryption. So the coordinates are 40.13878° North, -74.67691° East. At an abandoned Air Base." Zach then ran the coordinates and said "That's New Jersey. And they only have a few, but the coordinates closely line up with Ocean County Airport. Guess that's where we'll start then."
