If there was one lesson I've learnt in all my sixteen years of living; it's that jerks never stop being jerks for one single day. Tanaka Yamato slams me against the egg white wall of our school, his beady black eyes glaring daggers at me. Just when I assumed that this day was going to end peacefully, he just decided to shove me and ruin my day.
"Why didn't you hang out with me today at lunch?"he sneers.
I was obviously taller than him, but somehow he seemed much larger than I was.
"I had some work." I mutter, my voice quivering.
Which was true, I was forced to complete an assignment for the class representative, skipping my lunch. I thought that it would be a wise idea to be on her good side if I wanted to skip a few lessons.
He stared up at me, pent up frustration burning inside his eyes.
"Just don't do that again, alright." he moves away from me.
"Of course." I mutter.
I know him too well. The familiar gleam in his eyes that haunt me at night mean that this conversation won't end peacefully.
"There's no fucking way I believe that witty excuse!" he pushes me down harshly on the grassy field.
"You tried to run away, didn't you? I thought we were friends!" he stomps on my empty stomach.
Then the real agony starts. He pulls my magenta hair until it bleeds, pressing his foot down my vitals while I attempt to hold down the whimpers and growls. That was the most difficult thing to do, divert myself from the searing pain while refraining any strange sounds from coming out my mouth. If I did, that would only continue this torture. I distract myself, pondering about the book I was reading yesterday night. And then finally he's had his fun and departs without saying a single word.
The sun hits the horizon as I wipe the blood from my scalp. As long as no one knew, I was fine with this.
