Mackenzie's POV

I made my way through the crowded halls of my new school. There were people everywhere, pushing each other and jostling to get to their lockers, and occasionally, a fight would break out and everyone would gather round, either encouraging them or trying to force them apart. I sighed a little, pulling my timetable out of my bag. Great! Double science, Mr A. Scott. I'd heard from quite a few people that Mr Scott was new, and that he only started today, so I was a little bit worried that he wouldn't teach my favorite subject properly, but I just pushed the thought to the back of my mind and set off to class.

I got to lesson about ten minutes early, so I chose the seat closest to the teacher's desk. He was already there, and god, was he gorgeous! He had ebony black hair, almost the same as mine, and deep chocolate brown eyes. He smiled at me, and stood up from his desk where he was sat doing something on his phone. "Hi." He smiled, looking incredibly shy. I took a step backwards, not wanting him to know that I found him attractive. Conceal, don't feel, I thought. I heard a voice behind me whisper to me. "Don't let it show." I jumped and looked behind me, and saw Mr Scott watching me. "You're cute." He said. "I like you." I smiled back, a blush rapidly spreading across my face. "So you've watched Frozen?" He asked, grinning like a maniac. I shook my head, confused. "You haven't? Well, we'll have to fix that. My place after school?" My eyes widened.

"I... Um... I can't. Sorry." I said quietly, blushing deep red. Mr Scott looked hurt, and he looked over at me silently. "No, I didn't mean it like that!" I protested. "I'll try my best. I could tell mum that I'm going to a friends, or whatever." I said helplessly. His face broke into a gin, and he pulled me into a hug. I stepped backwards, suddenly feeling incredibly nervous. His face fell, and for some unknown reason, he didn't speak to me for the rest of the lesson, apart from asking me to speak to him about something important after school.
