Caitlin's POV -
"Mam, the flight has landed."I woke up to the sweet voice of an air hostess who had clearly had a long day. I smiled apologetically and got up, grabbing my stuff from under the seat in front. I practically ran off the plane and was immediately hit with the noise of the airport. Practically skipping, I made my way down to baggage claim. Quickly I picked out my suitcase and walked toward the exit. I stopped at a coffee shop and got an ice coffee, it had been a long 24 hours. I sat smiling, I was going to be seeing my friends for the first time in 1 year and they were clueless. To explain, I had spent the last year in France for a photography thing. It had been great and I had learnt so much but it did take me away from my friends. Life had gotten so busy that we barely skyped or texted, and by the 6 month mark we had no contact. Luckily I was back and ready to suprise my friends. Though I knew there would be 1 person not so happy to see me. Harry Lewis. We didn't get along, to put it nicely. I don't know what set it off but we never seem to have anything nice to say to eachother. It does make me sad that we can't just be friends but I'm not backing down, I didn't start this pettiness but I sure as hell will finish it. After 10 minutes I finished my drink and threw away the cup. Happily I walked to the elevator and pressed the button for floor one. As the doors slid open the crisp air of London hit my face. Instantly I pulled my sleeves over my writs and pulled my light pink infinity scarf over the bottom half of my face. I walked to the office window and collected my keys, slowly racking my brain in an effort to remember where I parked. Eventually I remembered, parking slot 124 B. I thanked the women who handed me my keys and set off toward my car. I smiled at the sight of my range rover, thinking about the heated seats I would soon be sat in. Quickly I pulled out my keys and unlocked the car. Dragging my suitcase behind me I walked to the boot and in went my case. The red door clicked open as I placed my gloved hand on the handle. I sat back in my car for the first time in a year. While I was in France I rented a Mini, it was cute but I had missed this bad boy. As the screen turned on I clicked on my seat and steering wheel heaters and let the warmth fill my body. Eventually I typed my address into the sat nav. I couldn't wait to see Amelia again, she's my roommate and best friend. Amelia is also the only reason I met the people I now call friends. She was friends with Vik from school and ended up dating him, because they got serious, I got to meet Vik and all the guys that Amelia was so buddy buddy with. With some I hit it off immediately, me and Cal (Freezy) are practically inseparable, however it didn't go as smoothly with all, me and Harry loath eachother. Before leaving I turned on some music (old Conor Maynard tunes) from my phone and headed home.I arrived at the flats at about 9pm. I smiled up at the place I had called home for the past three years. France was gorgeous but it wasn't home. I took my keys out of the ignition and made sure to lock the car. I walked through the front room and jumped into the elevator. As I stood watching the numbers tick up I grabbed out my flat keys. The elevator reached floor 5 and I stepped out into the familiar hallway. Slowly I walked down the hall taking in everything around me. A smile spread across my face as I reached door 231. My keys fit right into the lock, just as I remember, my Minnie mouse locket hitting my hand as I turned the key. The Minnie mouse locket JJ gave me on my 23rd birthday. I pulled out my keys and unlocked the door. The flat was warm so I instantly removed my gloves and scarf. It was 9:27, Amelia was probably on her way back from Vik's or staying the night, either way I would know by 10:00. I wandered through to my room and changed into sweatpants and my LuxLike hoodie. My hair was pulled into a messy bun and I put my suitcase into the corner of my room. My room was so bare from the year away. I had taken almost everything with me to France. I decided to unpack some stuff.
It was 10:17, Amelia was staying over. I decided instead of spending my night alone I would put on my uggs and head to the boys flat. Quickly I walked to the front door, I slid on my light brown uggs that were a gift from Callum (Lux) on my 22nd birthday, and headed back to the elevator making sure to lock the door behind me.
The trip to Cal's flat seemed shorter than it used to be. Unfortunately the closer I got to the door the more nervous I got about seeing Harry. We had gotten to the point of murder when I left, was he still the same? He always seemed to start our fights, maybe he'd gotten over the childishness. Unlikely. I reached the door to the flat and heard the sound of Cal and Callum playing Fifa, Aka a lot of yelling. A smile spread onto my face but it quickly faded when I heard the voice of Harry, "You are shit mate, almost as shit as Caitlin." He laughed his abnoxious laugh, which was followed by an ow, i assume Callum hit him like normal. Well this is it, i'm home.
