it was already 9:58PM i told taehyung to go back home 3 hours ago.. so i'm just alone, me and my thoughts...

Dave..

he was my foreign friend that was supposed to stay in korean for a week, to see what korean schools were like.. this was way before i met jimin. I met jimin around middle school but i met dave in 5th grade.. he was actually getting bullied at the time but he didn't know because.. he could only understand and speak limited korean. back then i wasn't great that english.. but i was okay, he understood me and that was all that mattered. He was my only friend so i would protect him, whenever the kids would say something mean about him i would NEVER tell him the real meaning.

whenever someone called him a 'spoiled cunt' i would always tell him that they said that he was a cool guy, i never really told him the truth. until one day he found out.. he was secretly learning korean behind my back so he could talk to me without any struggles but it all went wrong so fast. when a kid called him a 'stupid brat' he found out.. he claimed that i was against him too i tried to tell him that i wasn't but he wouldn't listen. The next day the rest of the kids found out he could understand and read korean, they started taking action. Everyday when he would go to his desk.. he would find that his desk was covered in mean words.

"go back to america, no one wants you here"

"kill yourself"

he thought it was all me who did that.. that day he ended up skipping school. We didn't see him come to school after that, we just thought he really did go back to america. but one day the principal came to our classroom with a grim face..

"i'm sorry kids but.. the exchange student.. has passed away"

i winced in pain as i remember the memory.. I did that.. it was all my fault i hugged my knees and cried more, i remember coming to the funeral and his mom was screaming at me

"YOU KILLED MY BOY! YOU DID YOU DIDNT YOU?!" she didn't say it in english, she said it in korean so everyone would hear.. no one believed her, but it was true. I really did kill him...

i closed my eyes. I can't put taehyung in that kind of danger. He doesn't need me. No one needs me.
