Chapter 8 - His Base

Your POV:
I wake up the next morning and my fever was all gone. I felt a thousand times better. I jumped out of bed and walked out into the living room to find Tord half asleep on the couch. He turned over and looked at me. He smiled." Morgen sovende skjønnhet." I giggled at the nickname since I knew Norwegian and sat next to him." Morgen. Hvordan sov du?" He smiled and wrapped his robotic arm around my waist." Flink. Hva med deg?" I kissed his cheek." Flink." Tord then took my hand into his and intertwined our fingers." Id like to take you to my base. I have to go back and I don't want to leave you behind min dronning." I smiled and nodded." Id love to go min konge." He smiled as well." Well I need to ask Edd first since he is your older brother." I nodded and sat still as Tord got up to go ask Edd.

After what seemed like hours, Tord came back with a smile on his face." Edd said you can come!" I smiled and ran to him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me. He then closed up to my ear." Now start packing. We don't want to be late now do we?" I smiled and shook my head. I then ran to my room and started to pack.' How long will I be there for? ' I asked myself. Tord didn't tell me. All he had told me was that he wanted to take me to his base. I've been there before, only to his office, but it was such a pretty base. It was big and had a wide variety of training equipment and space. They even had bunkers for the soldiers. But that was many years ago. It could've changed by now. Once I finished, I walked over to Edd's door and quietly knocked." Edd? It's me. Can I come in?" I then heard Edd's footsteps and the door knob moving." Yea. Come on in." He smiled to me. I smiled back and walked into his room." So ready to head to Tord's base?" I nodded." Yea! I'm actually kinda surprised that you're alright with this." I say laughing and rubbing the back of my head. Edd just laughed." I trust Tord. Besides, I know you can take care of yourself. But be careful. Ok?" I nodded and hugged Edd." I'll miss you." He hugged me back." I'll miss you more." I then pulled away and walked out of the room.

~~~~ 4 Hours Later ~~~~

Once we got to Tord's base, I looked around in amazement. The base had changed so much from the last I saw it. The colors were now changed and the training equipment had upgraded. There were also more soldiers too! I could tell my excitement made Tord happy. He took my hand in his and smiled at me which caused my heart to melt." I'll show you to our room min dronning." I smiled and followed him to our room. Once we got there, Tord opened the door and inside surprised me with great wonders." Wow!" I gasped in amazement. The wallpaper was a burgundy color with a design of swirls as decoration. The flooring was a dark oak wood with dark red and black rugs. His bed had a dark wood headboard and he had red and black sheets ( of course ). He also had a big tv hanging on the wall in front of the bed. There was even a bathroom in the room too ( like a separate room ). My eyes shined as I looked at the room.  Tord chuckled and wrapped an arm around my waist." Like It min kattunge?" I nodded and looked up at him with a bright smile." I do min kjærlighet." He laughed and gave me a kiss. I happily kissed back and smiled." I hope you'll like everything here. Because it's our new home."
