Face Upon No Return

We Meet Some Interesting People

       We started walking into the cave and we came out into this beautiful landscape. I could hear the birds chirping and monkeys swinging from trees. It was sprinkling and you could hear it on the leaves. I walked around slowly in circles a couple times looking at all the beautiful and bright rainforest.

"Percy..." I breathed

Percy looked at me, wonder in his eyes. "Yeah, Percale?"

"This is...so beautiful

"I know. Look at all the water dripping off the leaves..." He started drifting off

  'Lol. Poseidon powers got to him real fast. It's starting to get me too. No! I need to focus. We need to find one of the ingredients or something to...uncure...RoPa.' I thought

       I started chuckling to myself. Percy was staring at water dripping off of a leaf. He moved his hand to make the water go in the air. He made it go high, low, zig-zag, loops, and spirals. I did that as well with another leaf.

"Wanna make an owl?" I asked

"I'd love to! It reminds me of-"

"Annabeth." I smiled and made half of the owl

Percy looked down and made the other half, "Yeah, I miss her."

"Me too. Don't worry we'll see her soon Perc."

"Yeah, I know it's just. I've been through so much with her."

"You mean us?" I raised an eyebrow

Percy spun his head to face me, shock written all over him. "I-I...uh...Yeah! I meant all three of us. So-sorry Percale. I didn't mean it that way." He looked at me apologetically

I laughed at him. "I accept your apology, Perseus Jackson." Percy looked at me confused and then put on his pouty face. "I was just messing with you, but for real all three of us have been through a lot. I knew what you meant."

       I love messing with him, but he needs the realization that the three of us have gone through a lot and with Grover.

"What!? I thought you were annoyed at me! Don't do that!" He whined

       I continued to mess with him and Percy continued to whine about it. Eventually, we did a bit of sword fighting, but we ended up tying. Shame I would love to have beat him and have the upper hand.

       He is so cute sometimes. I wonder what I would do without him? Probably not much or go insane, I wouldn't be the same without him.

I made a 'come here' motion. "Hug it out?"

"Yeah," Percy mumbled

       I chuckled at him. Percy can be so childish sometimes, but so can I. Must be from our mom I guess. I miss her loads. We hugged

       I saw something strange in the landscape. What looked like 2 animals.

       I took a few steps forward and the animals turned out to be people. They were standing hand-in-hand with each other, but couldn't tell whether they were friendly or not. I need to inform Percy. They seem okay, but I need to keep my guard up at all times.

"Who are you?" I demanded

no reply.

"I thought nobody lived here?" Percy questioned, but it sounded more like a demand

       I looked around on the ground and I didn't see the sack we put RoPa in. I started to panic. I heard my water I was controlling fall to the ground once I lost focus. oh crap. We had one new ally and we lost her, great...just great!
