I could hear the stones smashing together as Eloise ran after me. "Where are you going?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I waited for her to catch up.

"You don't where you are, and you've just found out your brother and best friend ch-"

"Boyfriend." I corrected her.

"Boyfriend." She agreed.

"If he wasn't my boyfriend, then he would've been just some guy who slept with my brothe-"

"Yeah, I get it, sorry. So? What are you going to do?"

"Well, I was planning on not caring and just going with whatever comes." I replied starting to walk off.

"But so much could go wrong! Why don't you come and stay with me? I'll show you around." She offered. I stopped walking.

"You don't live here, and, may I bring up again, you're a fan, it would be weird."

"You trusted me enough to tell me what happened with you and Phil. But yeah, I do live here, Plymouth, final stop on the train." I walked around in a circle for a bit, trying to figure out what I should do. Eloise seemed nice, but I couldn't get rid of this weirdness that I was experiencing.

"You're great. You've been great. But this is just a step too far. I would prefer to be on my own - to get my head around everything. Thank you, even so. It was nice knowing you." I put out my hand for her to shake it, but she just rolled her eyes and stormed off. "Bye then." I mumbled. I turned to look away from the sea and back towards all the buildings and roads and crowds and noise. I inhaled, "Come on then, Dan. Let's find something to do." I nodded in reply to myself but didn't go any where. I glanced from the sea to the town. From the beautiful silence, to the crazy crowds. I bit the inside of my cheek and sat back onto the beach - throwing stones into the sea.

That's where I stayed for the whole night.
