The air smelled of medicine and death.
Combine the two and you get the scent that Lee Sang-hyeok hates the most. Ah, how he despised going to hospitals. Hospitals have terrible food, sick people everywhere, and despair and hopelessness seemed to be the only things you can feel in its atmosphere.
But then again...
He was dead, wasn't he? Why could he still... smell things? Or rather, why can he still think?
The midlaner's eyes immediately shot open at that thought.
Only to come face to face with...
... himself?
SK Telecom T1's (former, since he's supposedly dead) mid laner saw himself standing on his own two feet with no problems, no bleeding, no pain or whatsoever.
Meanwhile, an exact copy of him lay motionless on a metal bed, a white sheet covering three thirds of his body.
Lee Sang-hyeok was confused.
What?
It was only when the doctors started walking in to wheel the Sang-hyeok that was on the metal bed away when he realized that the doctors were walking right through him.
Ah.
So... He was dead, after all? He's just a wandering spirit now, isn't he?
Great. Now he can move on to the afterlife in peace-
"Now that's where you're wrong, Sang-hyeok..."
An unknown voice boomed out, much to his surprise.
What on earth..?
"...Legends never die, remember?"
