"H-Hyung...?"

Sang-hyeok immediately opened his eyes at the sound of Wang-ho's voice.

He didn't realize he had been closing his eyes. No. Wait. He didn't remember closing his eyes either.

What?

"H-Hyung... I-It's really you..."

Sang-hyeok shook his head to clear his thoughts, then turned to look at the source of the voice.

Wang-ho was in front of him. His eyes were open wide, as if he couldn't believe his own eyes.

...

Warmth.

Lee Sang-hyeok felt warmth.

He quickly snapped to his senses and saw that one, his hand was gripping Wang-ho's tightly, and two, apparently Wang-ho had fallen on top of him when Sang-hyeok tried to pull Wang-ho off the edge.

Wait.

If he could touch Wang-ho and Wang-ho could see him... Does that mean...?

"I'm sorry, Lee Sang-hyeok. You failed the test. Turns out you didn't want to die after all."

He heard the Mist's voice echo in his mind before disappearing completely.

This means...

He's alive.

Lee Sang-hyeok is alive.

SLAP!

"H-Hyung! W-why aren't y-you s-speaking?!"

Sang-hyeok blinked, recovering from the shock of suddenly being slapped.

Wang-ho was still on top of him, looking like he was about to cry again, only this time...

He looked happy.

"Wang-ho..." Sang-hyeok heard himself speak.

"Hyung!"

He was immediately enveloped in one of Han Wang-ho's infamous bear hugs. Sang-hyeok felt like he was about to suffocate, but that didn't matter.

He was alive.

"THE DOCTORS SAID YOU WERE GOING TO DIE EVEN COACH SAID SO HOW ARE YOU SUDDENLY HERE I'M SO HAPPY-"

Wang-ho began crying tears of joy as he nuzzled against Sang-hyeok's neck, just enjoying the fact that his hyung was alive.

Sang-hyeok, on the other hand, didn't waste much time to hug the young jungler back.

"Idiot," he muttered, sounding annoyed, "I promised you that we'll hoist the Summoner's Cup together one day, didn't I? Of course I'm not leaving before that..."

Wang-ho sniffled and nodded in reply. "I t-thought," he mumbled, accompanied by occasional hiccups, "I t-thought you wanted to b-break that promise, I t-thought-"

Sang-hyeok closed his eyes, smiling. "Shh, I'm here now, aren't I? I made a mistake..."

His paused, thoughts wandered to the Mist.

"... But I've been given a second chance, so I'm not wasting it," he continued.

The Mist - whatever or whoever it was - would be so proud of him right now, Sang-hyeok thought.

Wang-ho pulled away, smiling shyly. "I'm just glad you're alive, hyung." The jungler felt so ecstatic that his brain didn't even bother to question how did Sang-hyeok somehow manage to teleport from his hospital bed to the rooftop in such great timing.

It defied all logic, but did anyone care at this point?

Well, the doctors and SK Telecom T1 members downstairs would be confused, when they find that Sang-hyeok's supposed corspe had disappeared...

But Sang-hyeok was sure they wouldn't care anyway.

He was alive.

That's all that mattered.

No, wait.

Sang-hyeok suddenly frowned, much to Wang-ho surprise.

"H-Hyung? What's going on?" the jungler asked worriedly, "Is there something wrong..?"

Sang-hyeok glared at him. "Yes," he said coldly, "You were about to jump off the edge of the fucking rooftop. That's what's wrong."

Wang-ho went red. "I-I..."

"Promise you won't do that again, Han Wang-ho," Sang-hyeok cut in, expression serious.

Wang-ho gave him a cheeky grin. "Well, only if you promise to stay alive from now on, hyung."

Sang-hyeok couldn't help but smile back.

"Tch, Wang-ho. Of course I will. Did you forget that legends never die?"
