The little brunette was sitting on Duff's lap laughing at one of Steven's jokes. Her voice was soft, her eyes warm, but her body both. Slash would be damned if he ever saw a sexier woman than little Sophie. But, she was Duff's girlfriend. Ah, the famous But that ruins everything. Well almost everything - Sophie's butt was unruinable. He tried not to look at her all night but even her laugh was making his imagination run wild and giving him a boner. That's why he's been grumpy all evening and a real pain in the ass to his friends.
The sad thing is that somewhere deep inside, he didn't care so much that she was Duff's. Sure, Duff was his brother as much as the rest of the band and he didn't want to still his brother's girl, but Sophie was out of this world. He wanted to be the one making her laugh, holding her, fucking her so much he was starting to think he was going to turn into a caveman any minute now, throw her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and run away with her.
He tried not to look at her but he was still studying her every move. He felt like a creep. A creepy troll sulking in the corner and drinking until he can no longer see straight. He could not not to notice the way she sipped her drinking slowly, the was holding her arm over her stomach while in Duff's lap, the way she gently slapped Duff's hand a few times when it was traveling up her skirt under the table, the way she tried to make hoops out of cigarette smoke when she was bored of the conversation. She may be a perfect gal, and Slash may be bellow her rank but still, in his head he had this crazy idea that he could make her happy.
On the other hand, he knew that although Duff liked Sophie, he wasn't over the moon crazy about her like Slash. Maybe he wouldn't mind so much if... Especially if Slash made her happier... And he was crazy about her, he could do almost anything for her... Yeah, that's what he is going to do. He will try and talk to Duff but no matter what Duff says, Sophie is going to be Slash's and he is going to be all hers.
