I stay with my mom, step-dad (Shawn), 3 brothers (Ely, Cass, Isaiah), and my one dog Maggie. My brother Isaiah and I usually are home-alone when our parents go to work. So the only thing to protect us is Maggie and the knife I have in the kitchen.

I come home first cause where we live, I'm super close to the middle-school but Isaiah's elementary school is a little further away. As I walked towards our little home I noticed that Shawn was still home. When I walked in I saw him looking out the window. I asked him, "Shawn, what are you doing?" He had a worried expression on his face, like he saw something he shouldn't have seen.

He turned to me and said, "Nothing Reece, just waiting for your brother to come home."

When Shawn left, Isaiah's bus immediately pulled up. Isaiah tried to walk pass Shawn's truck, but he turned like Shawn had called out to him. They looked like they talked for at least five minutes. It took Isaiah forever to walk up to the house since he plays around with everything he sees. As he was playing with a basketball, a woman with the brightest, red hair was standing right behind my brother. My heart immediately dropped, I had never seen anything like it. As he turned to face it, it just disappeared right before my eyes. I wondered where it went, I soon found out.

She was right behind me, I felt her presence, as she was slowly walking towards me. I was too afraid to turn around, I was afraid what I would see. She was so close to where I could hear her breathe and her hair was tickling my hand. Maggie started to bark and was scratching at her metal cage, I could hear her banging. As I thought she was going to kill me, Isaiah burst through the door screaming, "Reece are you home? I got something to show you."

When he came in, her presence was gone, and I let out the biggest sigh I could make. Isaiah found me laying down on the floor sweating. I quickly stood up, so Isaiah wouldn't freak out over what I saw. "Reece you okay?" he questioned. I told him I was fine and he gave something really strange.

"Look at it, it's so cool it feels like hair."

I told Isaiah, "It is hair, where did you get this?!" He then told me when he was playing he turned around and found it on the ground.

As I took it out of his hand a loud slam came from my parent's bedroom. Isaiah grabbed me by the arm, and Maggie began barking again. Part of me wanted to see what it was, but the other part said no. Even though I knew what it was I had to figure out why it was there. I told Isaiah to stay in the living-room and if anything happened, I told him to run towards the neighbors, and then I walked towards the bedroom.

I stopped at the kitchen, opened the drawer, and grabbed the biggest knife I could find. Just holding the knife made me feel safer. I entered the bedroom only to see her lying on the bed, pale, and bald. All of her hair was scattered around her pale body. I slowly walked towards her with my knife drawn as I walked closer and closer, all of the hair ascended around her body and into my eyes. I couldn't see anything and I felt my knife get pulled out from my hand. Scared, I tried to run away, but my obscured vision made me bash my head into the wall.

Moments later, Isaiah came in with Maggie. I heard his weeping and I felt his hands moving my chest. I coughed and got up as fast as I could. Isaiah grabbed me by the hand and told me to look in the mirror. We walked into the bathroom and I saw that my iris was red, and there was a pain in my chest. I lifted my shirt up and saw the words carved into my chest "Bloody Mary."

Hours later, when mom came home with the other boys, they took me to the hospital. When I was lying in my hospital bed I could somehow feel her. When the doctor told me about my scans he said I had high-levels of radiation in me. The doctor looked me straight in the eyes.

He said, "Your eyes are back to their original color." He took me to the mirror and I saw that they were back to normal. But in the background I could see "her." My jaw dropped and I realized, she was inside me. She grinned and disappeared. Moments later, my family came in and gave me get-well gifts. Cass (Three years old) came first, and gave me a drawn picture of a woman in red hair.
