Chapter Eighteen

Skyler's POV:
We where at List Park right now. Photographers are taking pictures of Kayel and I. They don't get close to us cause Kayel didn't let them, he has bodyguards around so that they won't get close to us. But the photographers weren't the only ones that were taking pictures, people that where at the park kept taking pictures of us as well. Girls where glaring at me, people where giving me jealous looks. Ignored them, they didn't have any reason to be jealous of me.

"Skyler." I heard Kayel call me. He snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah?" I asked while looking up at him. He was smiling down at me.

"Are you liking Levi so far?" Asked Kayel.

"Yeah I'm loving it but it's hard to get used to all this attention, to all this people taking pictures of us." I told him.

"Yeah sorry about that..." he said while passing a had through his hair. I could tell that he was a little bit frustrated because of all the attention that he is attracting.

"Don't worry about it. I was expecting something like this already. You are famous after Kayel." I told him but he still had a worried look on his face.

"Kayel..." I said trying to get him to look at me since he wouldn't even spare me a glance.

"Kayel..." I called once again. He still wouldn't look at me. I grabbed his hand and laced my fingers with his. When I did that he immediately snapped his gaze to me. He looked at me with shock.

"Kayel I knew that you are famous, I knew that you would attract a lot of attention and o don't mind that. Kayel that's who you are and I have to get used to it if I want to be around you. It's just hard to get used to when all your life you have been the one hiding in the shadows." I told him while looking straight into his eyes. I wasn't lying to him I did know what I was getting used to.

Kayel is part of The F's 4, they are known all around the world. They are known for being ruthless business men. They are also know for being a tight circle. The F's 4 don't let anyone in.

"Are you sure that you don't mind?" He asked me. I smiled at him. I don't know why but I'm glad that he cares about me like this. I still can't believe that he flew my mother and I here to the USA. I can't believe that he found a job for my mom and gave one to me. I can't believe that he is letting me attend Kim El University, for goodness sake.

"I'm sure Kayel, you don't have to worry about anything." I told him. He smiled at me.

"You don't know how happy that makes me feel Skyler." He said. I just smiled at him and pulled him to where I had seen a swing-set.

"Can you push me?" I asked him while giving him puppy eyes.

"Sure." He said and started to push me. This felt like when I was a kid. It made me feel happy, Kayel made me feel safe. He made me feel complete.

"Kayel can I ask you a question?" I asked him.

"You just did." He said while stopping the swing. I just gave him "an are you serious" look. He just laughed at me.

"Ask away Skyler." He said to me after he finished laughing.

"Why did you decide all of a sudden to get to know me?" I asked him. Right now we where face to face.

"Why did you ask that?" He asked me.

"I'm curious." I told him. He sighed and looked at me with with deep emotions in passing through his eyes.

"I just felt like it." He answered back. Seriously he just felt like it.

"Seriously?" I asked him while raising an eyebrow. He looked down but didn't say anything.

"Listen I just need time, I'll tell you when I'm ready." He told me and now I was the one that sighed. I'll give him time if that's what he needs.

"Okay..." I said to him. It became a bit awkward often that.

"Look I didn't mean for it to get so awkward. I know that I told you that I would try and open up to you but I need time. It's hard for me to open up to someone. I haven't done something like this in a long time.l said Kayel to me.

"Kayel I know it's hard to open up to someone, you are the first persons I have ever opened up to, besides my parents." I told him while taking hold of his hand. Right now we where sitting down on the swings.

"Thank you for understanding Skyler. Look I decided to help you, to get to know you cause even though at first I thought that I hated you. I was just angry with you. I'm not used to people talking back to me or just come up to me and ask for an explanation to my actions or decisions. I'm used to doing what I want and when I want." Said Kayel while looking straight into my eyes. I'm glad that he decided to open up to me.

"Kayel thank you. I really needed someone to come into my life and take me out of this routine. The only person that could do that was my dad." I told him. He looked at me with curious eyes.

"Was your dad?" He asked me. I sucked in a breath. He noticed that I used past tense.

"My dad he... he..." I started to say but then I just felt myself break down. I started crying uncontrollably.

"You don't have to tell me Skyler. You don't have to feel like you have to continue." He said to me, he stood up and grabbed each of my hands and pulled me to him. Kayel hugged me close to him. He rubbed my back and kept telling me that I didn't have to continue. I cried harder. I missed my dad a lot! After I had calmed down a bit Kayel and I sat down at a bench that was close by.

"I want to tell you Kayel." I told him.
