Jack visited Finn in the hospital the next 3 days until he got better. He helped the very weak boy eat and do other tasks. On the 2 day, Finn asked jack a question.

"Why are you helping me? I was a huge dick to you."

Jack smiled and shaked his head.

"Because dear Finnie..." he started.
"Love makes you do weird things."

Finn giggled and replied

"I love you too." As he pulled jack in for a kiss.

Jack always felt like their kisses were first ones. He loved the boy so.

That night jacks mom texted him that she was working late and that dinner was in the fridge. So jack decided to stay a couple more hours. He sat in the chair next to Finns bed reading his book while Finn dozed off. Jack started growing sleepy and before you know it jack was sound asleep in his chair.

Hours later finn woke up to a soft breathing next to him. Seeing jack, he got a small smile on his face. Moving his hand on top of jacks, he studied his face again. Finn could stare at jacks face for hours and not get bored.

After Finn got let out of the hospital, the two were insuperable. Always whispering 'I love you's' into each others ears, cuddling and falling asleep in each other's beds, and holding each others hands. Finn loved the way jacks hand felt, the gaps of his fingers fit Finns perfectly (owl city).

One day jack got a text message from Finn,

Finnigan: Do you wanna go to the park?

Jack smiled to himself

Jack: sure finn

Finnigan: Be there in 5.

And with that, Jack grabbed his jacket because it was a chilly November day in California, which was rare.

Jack was walking along the sidewalk, as happy as can be, thinking he was the luckiest boy in world.

As Jack arrived at the park, he looked around and spotted Finn on one of the benches. As he made his way over to he realized that finn wasn't smiling, but holding his head in his hands sobbing.

Jack sprinted over and quickly pulled the taller boy into a hug. Petting his head and caressing his thin waist.

"Finn what's the matter? Don't cry!"

Finn held onto jacks arms, half sobbing into them and half just holding them.

Finally, when he calmed down enough to were only small whimpers escaped Finns mouth, Jack asked him once more.

Finn was silent for a few seconds, then he finally replied.

"My dad.."

Jack waited patiently for finn to go on, not wanting to rush him.

"He.. he.. kicked me out. He kicked me out for being g-gay."

Right then jacks blood turned cold. Finns mom knew that finn had a boyfriend but the subject never really came up to his dad.

Jack was shocked on what finn had told him next.

It turned out, Finns dad saw his phone and decided to go through his and jacks text msgs and when he found out.. he called finn over and slapped him twice telling him to get out. Finn was so shaken up he forgot to bring anything  but his phone.

Jack decided to let him stay at his house.
