They say that a parabatai is hard to be found, that not everyone is ment to share this bond.

I can't do this, though Liam before the parabatai ceremony started, before he enters in the circle of fire, before his life was about to change forever.
But he had to do it. He had to do it for him, for Theo. He saw the look on his face when Liam accepted to be his parabatai. It was the most wonderful thing Liam ever saw, Theo's smile, the look of absolutely happiness.
He did it. He didn't want Theo to be sad. He wanted to be the reason Theo smiled every day.
He was selfish. He addmited it. But he didn't care. Not now.
And that's what he thought when he was 13, when he knew little, when he did't know in what situation he will be in, when he didn't know he was about to destroy his life.
