In present

Liam clenched his hand tighter around the handel of his sword, watching his opponent with a cocky smirk on his face. He cracked his neck, ignoring the cold that was biting from his limbs. He prepared to make a move when the annoying voice with a slightly proeminent English accent of his parabatai made him stop in his tracks.

"Asshole, put the sword down, you know you can handle better with the bow!"

"Oh shut up! Like you are better with the sword then I am", Liam mutterd the last part, but Theo herd him anyway, making a bubble of laugh to rise from his chest while Liam dropped his sword and grabed the bow.

"Uhm, I definetely am better then you with the sword", Theo replays smugly, spinning a dagger in his hand, Liam watching mesmerized how his runed biceps were flexing with every move.

"Oh, really? Remember when I showed you how to hold a dagger in your hand? You couldn't even strike straight to the target and nearly cut of my head once because you were too stubborn to let me show you", he says offended, throwing his hand in the air.

"I don't see how the daggers relate to our swords discussion", Theo responds frowning.

"Oh, it relates! It means 'Liam is better than you at everything and you can't do anything about that'", Liam says, giving Theo a full teeth grin, getting closer to the slightly older boy.

"For Raziel's sake, how the hell are you better than me at everything when everytime you try to 'surprise' attack me you end up in the Infirmery?", the hazel eyed boy asks gesturing large.

"Like I said, I teached you how to throw a dagger and now you think you are the God of this thing", the shorter boy rolls his eyes at the end of the sentence, catching the dagger from Theo's hand, examinating it.

"Well, you wouldn't even touch an arrow if I wouldn't forced you to try. And look at you now, you are at the same level as Alec Lightwood", Theo told him, grabbing the dagger from Liam's hands and shoving it back in his belt, his green-ish irises glimmering with something that Liam associated with the word 'proud'. "And besides, you know that I am already a God of throwing  daggers and kicking demons' asses with a sword", the boy winks, bitting his lower lip, making Liam punch himself mentally for staring at the gesture.

Someone that was clearing their throat made the two boys jump startled, parting, not being aware of the little distance that had been between them. And there was Tara Ravenheart with one hand on her hip and the other holding a crossbow, her black outfit matching perfectely with her pale skin and the white background.

"As much as I like seeing you bickering like an old married couple I would love seeing you alive. By now, you two assholes you would've been dead if I was a real demon", she says, rolling her blue eyes, her accent adding a soffisticated note on every word.

"Woah, geez, your optimism amazes me everytime", Theo sais, the sarcasm note in his voice making his sister throw a snowball from the stack at her feeth in his face.

"And I almost forgot how much of a dick you are", she replays smirking, undoimg her ponytail, letting her dark hair flow free on her shoulders.

The sound of a cough that sounded more like a laugh caught their attention, their head turning in a terrifing syncron, the dirty look that they were throwing at him reminding Liam how alike they are.
