I was upset, I couldn't think knowing El was out there all alone. I know she's been out there before but now the monster that took her is stronger with more power than her. Anything could happen to her and I can't lose her, after last time no I couldn't think about that.
So I ran and I didn't look back, and I ended up in the woods where we had found El. Then I just let go and had cried right there and then.
Then I heard my friends shouting
"MIKE"
"MIKEEE"
"MIKE WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU"
But I didn't respond I just stayed there crying and they eventually they had all found me and we sat there in silence
