I was asked by those working on The Fault in Our Stars movie campaign, which will premiere on the 6th of June, to create an original story inspired by the book.
This opportunity did not only come as a great honor for me, it also came as a great challenge. And while I may never come up with a storyline as great as what John Green did with The Fault in Our Stars, I could only hope that this original story I created called, “Wingless and Beautiful” would also convey the message that love can be found in the most unexpected places and unlikely situations. And that no amount of misfortune, tragedy, disability or obstacle can stop two people from finding happiness, and two hearts from beating as one.
