Maybe We Can

chapter 4 (cute as a button)

After about an hour being on my phone, Niall turns on Supernatural for me so  I squeek and scuttle across my bed till I'm at the edge sitting crisscross apple sauce and staring up at the t.v. like a little kid. "There you go again." Niall says but I shush him. when it came commercial I flopped onto my back and sighed rather loudly. When the show started again I squeaked and sat up again. The show got to a point where Sam smiled at Dean so in a very high pitched squeak I said "Aw, Sammyyyy smilin' dat makes muh wittle heart happy" in adoration. When I did so Niall looked over at me and smiled then chuckled. "Don't judge me Horan!" I shouted to him without taking my eyes off the screen. "I'm not. You're just being cute again." he says "Niall shush I'm trying to hear Sam's voice!" I say and smile to the t.v. once more. Niall just smiles to himself and turns up the t.v. for me.

When the show ends I turn to Niall and sigh over dramatically and very loudly "What was that about? Because it's over?" he asks. "YES AND ALSO BECAUSE MY OVARIES BURST AT LEAST 10 TIMES AND I KINDA NEED THOSE!!!" I shout and he just cracks up. "I'm internally bleeding you insensitive dick!" I call to him and chuck a pillow at his head. "Marie, calm down. Your ovaries are fine." "YOU DON'T KNOW ME! YOU DON'T KNOW MY LIFE! YOU DON'T KNOW MY STORY!!!" I shout again and he curls up laughing causing me to laugh as well. "They're gone, Niall!! Poof! Gone!! Bye bye ovaries nice knowin' ya!" I say after I calm down a bit. "Marie stooop" Niall begs through laughs. "fine I'll stop...but my internal bleeding won't." "Marie, your ovaries didn't actually explode." Niall says to me "Whatever Niall but I'm telling ya that they did." "You are a pain in the-" "RUMP!!" I correct him before he curses "No...You know what I was going to say." "Shush Nialllll" I drawl out.

I drop onto my back and grunt "I'm boooored" "Well, You were sick this morning so I don't think we should go anywhere" "But, Niaaallll I feel better now and there is a whole island out there that we need to explore!" I say and he laughs "You don't have the right clothes" "Oh well" "Fine but we better sleep in tomorrow" "For hours." I agree. We go out and explore the island. I find a little shop where I find a journal that has places to put pictures and writing pages so I buy it. After I purchase it I clutch it in my arms and whisper "I've got plans for you." Niall finds us matching T-shirts. "Look!" he shouts when he finds them. 'Best friends are the kind of people to:

•call you an a**hole but will beat anyone else who calls you it.

•eats your food

•just shows up at your house

•buys you corny gifts for your birthday

But most of all they are the kind of people you make the best memories with' is what it read. I squeeked and told Niall that was us. He bought the shirts, I made sure mine was really big.

We shopped around for a while then I found out there was horse back riding on the beach. We went to the stable and rented two horses for three hours and started roaming the island on horseback. "Niall!" I shout to him. His horse is way behind mine. "What?" He shouts back "Do you want me to wait?" I ask "Yeah" I stop my horse and he finally catches up. I lean a little and start petting my horses neck and head. "God, I love horses" I say "I know, Marie" "They're my favorite animal." "I know" "Welp...lets race!" I shout and lightly kick my horses sides to make it go and we go off running, Niall screaming behind me.

I get to a little cove and stop my horse giving Niall time to catch up. When he's close enough I hop down of my horse and lead her by her reigns to the opening to the cove. "Woah Niall check this out." I say and he comes over. Theres a water fall of crystal blue water leading into a small body of water, palm trees surround it. It looks gorgeous. I tie my horse up to a nearby tree, Niall copying my actions. I go over to the edge of the water, take off my shoes, and roll up my pants sticking my feet in the water. Niall comes over and mimicks my actions, sitting next to me. "It's so beautiful here." I say looking up torwards him. His eyes are a bright blue, the way the sun shines off them makes it even more beautiful. "It is isn't it?" Niall says and smiles down to me. "Woah" he breathes "What?" I ask "Your eyes...they're so beautiful...they look almost like the water.." He says. I giggle and cover my face with sleeve. "Yours do too!" I say still covering my face with my sleeve. "Take your sleeve away from your face." he requests, I do. "Look at your dimples!" he says and I giggle again covering my face up once again. "Stop being cute for the millionth time today!" He says "I'm not!" I shout and get up running around the small sandy space. He chases after me and grabs me by the waist spinning us a circle by the time we stop he has his arms around me and his chest is against my back. I turn my neck and look up at him. He looks down to me. "Do you mind? I'm trying to adventure here." I say and he laughs letting me go. I get my shoes back on and untie my horse leading her through the brush back to the opening. I get back on and Niall finally comes out on his horse. "Ready?" I ask. "Yep." we set back off for the stables before our 3 hours are over.
