Chapter 18

We got home around 4am and let me tell you i was tired af. We all walk into the house and they all went upstairs but me and Zac.

I went and turned the lights off in the kitchen. Bills be high because people leave the lights on i swear. I went into the living room and my heart just melted.

Alexis was sleeping on the couch with Zac's mom. Zac came in and hugged me from behind.

"She is just so comfortable with your mom". I whispered.

"She is comfortable because its someone that will love her and not hurt her". He whispered in my ear.

I turned off the lamp and Zac ended up picking me up carrying me upstairs to my room. Guess we will move when we get up.

He laid me down on the bed and i sat straight up and got off the bed.

"What"? He looked confused.

"I smell like lake water i need to shower and if you want to lay in my bed you will too".

Zac just smiled at me and i rolled my eyes laughing as i walked out of the bedroom and to the bathroom. Zac was right behind me.

He closed the bathroom door and came up behind me and kissed my cheek.

"No funny business i want to shower and go to bed. Im tired".

He laughed a little. "Alright baby".

We took our shower and then fell asleep. And boy was i tired.

When i woke up Zac wasnt beside me. I stretched and sat up. On the pillow beside me was a note

'Baby i had to get back to the pack with Shane and Trent. Hopefully we will be back before night time. If not the key is under the pillow to the house'.

I moved the note and looked under the pillow and there was a key.

I grabbed it and put it in my bag by the bed. I got out of bed and went downstairs and smelled something amazing.

"What is that smell"? I asked walking into the kitchen.

"Oh my gosh Mama Miller made these amazing blueberry muffins". Sage said with a mouthful spitting some of the muffin out of her mouth.

"Um ew say it not spit it out all in my face". I said wiping my face.

"Actually its say it not spray it". She said after she swallowed her muffin.

I just rolled my eyes.

"Where's Gabby and Alexis and Mrs.Miller"? I asked her

"In the living room of course. You know your sister is doing her thing and Mama Miller is doing Alexis's hair".

"Oh okay".  I said grabbing a muffin. I sat beside Sage.

"Did you see the guys before they left"? I asked biting into the muffin. Oh my goodness this is amazing.

"Yeah Shane woke me up before he left and left me tell you i liked the way he woke me up". She smirked.

I shook my head and laughed. "Im guessing you came a few times huh". I nudged her.

She laughed with me. "Girl you know i sure did".

I ate the rest of my muffin. "Do you think we should move in without the guys"?

She shrugged. "I want to finish now but i dont want to move all of my stuff".

I rolled my eyes. "You are so lazy geez".
