Chapter 31

Christmas Eve

-Galleria

I woke up in a dark place. My head was hurting like crazy. I looked over in the cell and saw Alexis sleeping on the floor. I slowly got up because i was in pain and went over to her. I made sure she was breathing. And i picked her up. They kidnapped me and my daughter and i don't even know where I am. But trust me they will regret kidnapping me.

Three hours before

I walked down the stairs and like always Sage and Gabby were in the living room. But this time with the guys.

"Hey where's Alexis and Zac"? I asked them.

"Well like every Christmas Eve he is probably out Christmas shopping". Shane said while he played with Sage's hair.

"On Christmas Eve really"? I asked sitting on the floor.

"Yes this is an every year thing". Trent said trying to take the bag of chips from Gabby.

She looked at him. Well she glared at him and smacked his hand.

"Oww damn woman". He said rubbing his hand.

"Don't you know it's a bad idea to take food from a pregnant wolf". Sage said rolling her eyes.

"No actually I have never heard of that". He said

I just shook my head. Soon the door opened and o heard little feet running in.

"M-Mommy". Lexis came in the living room and landed on my lap.

"Hey". I kissed her cheek.

Zac walked into the living room smiling.

"Why are you smiling like a weirdo"? Trent asked.

Zac quickly stopped smiling and cleared his throat.

"I'm not. I'm babe can I see you and Alexis".

I nodded and got Lexis off of my lap and stood up. I picked up Lexis and Zac grabbed my hand. We walked to the backyard.

"What's going on Zac"?

He shook his head. "Nothing. Just want to spend time with my family". He smiled at me.

"Daddy wolf"? Lexis asked Zac. Meaning she wants to play with his wolf.

"Sure princess". He went behind the tree and soon you heard his bones cracking. You could see his wolf now. Because his wolf was huge and a small tree can't hide him.

He came over to us and I put Alexis down and she went over to Zac's wolf and hugged. Well tried to hug him.

He laid down on the ground and she got on top of him and laid on top of him.

"Lexis you like daddy's wolf"? I asked her walking over to them.

"Yes h-he soft. Mommy c-can you turn too".

"Sure sweetie".

I looked over at Zac's wolf and he was smirking at me.

My wolf was jumping up and down. Our wolves haven't really been together in a while.

I took off my sweats and top and shifted into my wolf.

I laid beside Zac and he licked my nose. Basically a wolf kiss.

Lexis got off of Zac and slid in between.

"M-Mommy and daddy wolf". She said and then she began to howl. Which made Zacs wolf howl. I couldn't help but smile this is my family.

Soon Zacs wolf stopped and quickly stood up.

'Shift and get Alexis inside'. He mindlinked me.

'What's going on'?

'Rogues'. Was all he said before running into the woods.

Soon I stood up and saw Trent and Shane running out the backdoor and shifting into their wolves running into the woods.

I shifted back to my human self and grabbed Lexis and ran into the house.

My sister and Sage came over to us in a panic. "What's going on"? Sage asked.

"Rogues".  I told them. I handed Lexis to Sage and ran upstairs and put some clothes on.

After I put on clothes I quickly got downstairs.

"So what do we do"? Sage asked.

"We are head of the pack. We need to make sure the children and women are safe. Gabby mindlinked Mama Miller".

Gabby nodded as her eyes glossed over.

"We need to get to the pack house". I told them.

"Mama Miller said she's helping get the women and children to the safe house which isnt that far from us. We need to help them". Gabby said.

I shook my head. "No we need to get you and Lexis to the safe house. You're pregnant remember. Trent would have our heads if he knew you were in danger".

I took Alexis from Sage and she hugged onto my neck.

"Let's go"! I told them. We quickly ran out of the house and saw some warriors helping the women and children get to the safe house.

Once we got to the safe house I saw Mama Miller there. She ran over to us and hugged us all.

"Is everyone okay"? I asked.

"Yes. We are just making sure everyone is here".

I placed Alexis on the floor. "I'm going to double check to make sure nobody is still out there. I would seriously hate to see anyone killed". I told Mama Miller.

"Gallery are you crazy you could get killed". Gabby yelled.

"Gabby I am the Killer wolf I put myself in danger all the time. I am the Luna of this pack. I need to make sure nobody is left behind".

"Then I'm coming with you". Sage said.

I shook my head. "No I need my Female Beta here please".

"Gall-". I cut her off.

"Stay please". I told her and ran out of the safe house. I ran as fast as my wolf speed would let me go. I got to the safe house and double checked every room.

I looked out the back and saw a red eyed wolf and then i saw. Oh my gosh.

I ran out the back.

"ALEXIS"! I yelled.

The wolf looked at me then at her. He quickly started running towards her.

"M-MOMMY"! She screamed out.

I shifted into my wolf and ran towards him and bit his neck. He whimpered out. Then I ripped his neck and cracked it.

His lifeless body fell to the ground.

I shifted back and ran over to her.

"What are you doing here. You should have stayed with grandma".

I held her close to me as she cried.

Soon I felt a needle stick in my neck and I fell into darkness.
