(D'artagnan pov) (Dee-art-ang-num)

The small talons of a youngling were wrapped around the cold metal bars of the cell, it's forehead pressed against it while a clear blue tear slipped down his narrow cheek, not bothering to wipe it away.

Where was mother? Was she being interrogated again for the location of Optimus Prime?

The snarl from one of Lockdowns dogs brought him out of his thoughts, the ugly animal growling as it walked down the hall past his cell. With a whimper, D'artagnan slowly stepped away from the bars, his long tail curled around his left leg and the edges along his body flattened in fear.

He could feel the presence of Mother down in his young spark, the presence of his Sire just an empty hole while way deep down, barely a sliver, there was a presence similar to Sire.

With another whine D'artagnan curled into a ball, as far away as possible from the door of the cell. The roars and howls of the other creatures of the ship the only thing he could hear other than his pounding little spark.

He only shrank back further when the door to the holding area opened, the heavy pedesteps of someone and what sounded like rolling.

" welcome to the Knights Terminal, Prime. "

The ridges along D'artagnan's back rose when the deep voice of the one who killed sire and captured him and mother spoke. with a hiss D'artagnan lunged at the bars, suddenly hit with bravery and with rage at the bounty Hunter who tore out Sire's spark, right before his and his Mothers optics.

He remembered the clear horror and pain on his Mothers scarred face.

The ugly green opticed bot sneered at the little cretin daring to challenge him, thus slamming his pede into the bars and hitting it's snout which was pushed up against the bars baring teeth. The little draco reeled back with a yelp, holding its snout with its clawed servos.

D'artagnan snarled, staying a few feet away from the bars, " murderer. " he hissed with a scowl, making the grey bot laugh.

" oh I'm much more, fledgling. " he sneered before turning back to the red and blue flamed bot whose brilliant blue optics were trained on the sparkling that stood up to Lockdown.

The prime's optics brightened and dimmed as he looked over the draco like youngling. The fins on its back that lowered and curled in when the young mech noticed the Prime watching him.

Optimus was wrought out of his thoughts when Lockdowns servo transformed into a boomerang-like hook which he stabbed through the Prime's ankle and threw him into the last open cell, a grapple clinging to his foot and hanging him upside down as the cells walls produced sharp edges to prevent escape.

" the different species mixing with species, the creators, they don't like it- " Lockdown sent a disgusted sneer at the silver youngling who in turn snarled. " they built you to do what you were told. " and he turned, stalking back over to the cage with the silver draco, build and looks familiar to the Prime, yet he couldn't place it.

" I have no use for interrogations, anymore. " Lockdown finished with a cruel smirk as he left, leaving the youngling to repeat the words in his head before his optics widened in horror.

" MOTHER!!! " He screamed, slamming his body against his cages doors and scrabbling his small claws against the bar.

the sparkling wailing for his carrier made Optimus' spark sink, having to watch pitifully as the draco's optics shone in pure horror as it tried to get out of its cage to get to his mother.

" Mum! " he continued to wail, his clawing slowing as he realised he couldn't get to his mother in time. His narrow chest expanded and shrank rapidly with his intakes, before he slowly backed away from the door, eyes narrowed and dimmed.
