The fall of Loki

Chapter 2

As they brought Loki to his cell, they started to explain to you that Loki is a bad guy and about everything he's done, about him being exiled and being a threat to earth.

"Since you're the one who caught him I think it's best that you guard his cell, you know in case he escapes." Natasha said. You agreed.

As you came into the room you saw Loki sitting in a glass cube facing the other way. You silently walked to your seat.

"I thought you were good." He said breaking the silence. You felt guilty and awful but you couldn't do anything about it because you didn't even know he was bad.

"Look, I'm sorry but I really didn't know that they were looking for you." He turned to you and looked into your eyes coldly with his emerald green eyes, you found his eyes mesmerizing. You shaked the feeling off.

"Sorry Loki." You sincerely said while letting out a sigh. You sat back at your seat and remembered about the book you were reading earlier. You looked back at Loki and saw him in the position he was the first time you saw him in his cell. You went out and got your book and laptop too.

You went back to see Loki sitting in the corner of his glass cube and looked at you coldly. You went to your seat and placed the laptop on the table near you. You started reading but Loki spoke.

"Um. Do you have another book?" He asked. You looked at him.

"Oh. You like books?" He smiled a bit and nodded.

"Wait I'll get you one. Btw I'm (y/n)" You looked at him and smiled. He seemed to blush a little but you thought that maybe you were just imagining.

"So about the book" he said.

"Oh. Yeah wait. Don't try to escape okay? I'll get your book. " You said and went out to get one of the books you had. You didn't seem to know which book he would want, you had Harry Potter, Divergent series, Maze Runner. You took all the books you think he would want.

"What took you so long (y/n)" he greeted you. You rolled your eyes and smiled. You cold see him smiling at the corner of your eyes which made your the butterflies in your stomach flutter.

You made him choose between the books and he chose Harry Potter. You slid the book in the whole used for serving him food. You got your book as well and started reading. You could hear him chuckle while reading.

After you two finished reading he started questioning about the book.

"I am fascinated by this J.K Rowling is she some sort of wizard? What powers does she have" you started laughing.

"What's​ funny?" He asked seriously.

"Nothing nothing. She's just like me a midgardian or a muggle" you said trying to hold off a laugh.

" So this Draco guy" he said. You were assuming​ that he would ask about Harry.

"He seems nice but misunderstood. Like me" he looked sad so you sat beside the glass leaning on his cell.

"You wanna talk about it Loki?" You asked trying to comfort him.

"No. I'm fine. I'd rather not. Maybe some other time" He said trying to look okay, you knew he wasn't. You felt awful if it wasn't for you he wouldn't be here.

"Loki, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have led you here." You apologized.

"No no, it's fine I deserve this." He said trying to cheer you up.

"Is there anyway I can make it up to you?" You asked him.

"There is actually. Can you bring me books everyday?" I smiled at his simple request.

"Of course." I replied.

"Oh and (y/n) please don't leave me." He said and he sounded like he was begging. You nodded and replied. "I won't".

You noticed it was getting late and you needed to sleep for you were tired yourself.

"Loki, It's getting late. You​ need to rest so do I. See you tomorrow I guess?" You said not really wanting to leave him.

"Good night, (y/n). See you tomorrow. Please come early." He said.

"Okay, I will. Good night. Try to get some sleep" you went to your room and tried to get some sleep. You tossed and turned on your bed, you can't seem to drift off to sleep.
