Chapter 6

I sprinted down to the power room and looked for the main cord.

"Bingo" I muttered as I pulled it then all the power went out. Then the generator went on but I got rid of that. I started to run to where Bucky was but Tony shot me.

"Hey!" I shouted as he got closer to me.

"Why the hell did you do that?" he asked me. I looked at him with tears in my eyes.

"I refuse to treat Wanda like a weapon" I answered.

"This isn't about Steve?"

"There are 2 other reasons" I answered.

"I'm doing this for Bucky because it's wrong and I'm also doing this for Steve because he is the first real father figure I have had" I added.

"So you're switching sides?"

"Sorry" I responded. He kissed me.

"I'm only letting you go this time, run please" he stated and I smiled then ran off. When I found Bucky he was fighting Steve. Steve got pushed into the elevator shaft. I fought Bucky but he slammed me into a wall and ran.

"Ow" I muttered. I slowly got up as Steve climbed out of the elevator shaft, he helped me up. We ran to the helipad. Bucky was up there trying to take off in the helicopter. As he took off Steve ran up and grabbed the side.

"CAP!" I shouted. The helicopter crashed into the ground and I covered my face. The cockpit how ever was about to fall into the lake below us. I grabbed onto it and so did Steve. Eventually it pulled us both off. Steve and I swam down and grabbed an unconscious Bucky. Well he did, I just helped. When we broke the surface we quickly swam away.

In a huge abandoned warehouse Bucky comes to with his metallic left arm clamped in a huge industrial vice. Steve peers through a gap at a chopper flying overhead. Sam and Athena are over by Bucky.

I had changed into dry clothes and I worked on getting all of the water out of Bucky's lungs with my powers. Then he started to wake up.

"Hey, Cap" Sam called and Steve ran over.

"Steve" Bucky muttered as I backed away by Sam and Steve.

"Which Bucky am I talking to?" Steve asked.

"Your mom's name was Sarah. You used to wear newspapers in your shoes" Bucky reminded, I stifled a laugh.

"Can't read that in a museum" Steve approved.

"Just like that, we're suppose to be cool?" Sam asked.

"What did I do?" Buck asked.

"Enough" I responded.

"Oh, God, I knew this would happen. Everything HYDRA put inside me is still there. All he had to do was say the goddamn words" Bucky regretted.

"Who was he?" Steve asked.

"I don't know" Bucky muttered.

"People are dead. The bombing, the setup. The doctor did all that just to get 10 minutes with you. I need you to do better than I don't know" I demanded.

"He wanted to know about Siberia. Where I was kept. He wanted to know exactly where" Bucky remembered.

"Why would he need to know that?" Sam asked.

"Because I'm not the only Winter Soldier" Bucky answered.

"Who were they?" I asked.

"Their most elite death squad. More kills than anyone in HYDRA history. And that was before the serum" Bucky answered.

"They all turn out like you?" Sam asked.

"Worse" the soldier answered.

"The doctor, could he control them?" Steve wondered.

"Enough" Bucky declared.

"Said he wanted to see an empire fall" Steve muttered.

"With these guys he could do it. They speak 30 languages, can hide in plain sight, infiltrate, assassinate, destabilize, They can take a whole country down in one night. You'd never see them coming" Bucky stated, scaring me.

"This would have been a lot easier a week ago" Sam muttered to Steve and I.

"If we call Tony..." I started.

"No, he won't believe us" Steve responded and I frowned.

"Even if he did..." Sam trailed off.

"Who knows if the Accords would let him help" Steve reasoned.

"We're on our own" I declared.

"Maybe not. I know a guy" Sam stated.
