A man took a taxi and noticed the driver busy reciting Quran. He enquired, "Did anyone die?", and the respond, "Yes, our hearts..."
*Valuable lessons to ponder upon*
The captive in prison longs for the mushaf to accompany his isolation
The sick in the hospital longs for the mushaf for Allah to cure his illness
The dead longs for the mushaf to exalt his rank
What about us...? We are not imprisoned, nor sick and not dead such that we yearn for it...?
It is in there in front of us and our eyes...are we waiting until something that terrifies us befalls us ...?!
The spring of the hearts,
and the concealer of defects,
and the protector of the souls,
and the companion of the grave
and the intercessor of the day of crossing(the siraat)
