Chapter 14

Colby Pov 

As soon as we got back we played with Author and hung out with everyone else, it's been a few minutes since Brennen left for work, I have to go to work in a bit my hour changed I leave to work at 1 pm. Author birthday is next week I get paid on Friday I hope I'd have enough Brennen Brenner and I take turns paying the house or we both will split the payment. Brennen is a mechanic and I work with a company for a magazine, but I'm an assistant I don't help with it I just get the coffee,set the meetings, answer calls blah blah. 

Author is out of school for a week,because of a pipe broke in the school no one wad injured so Author got to stay with a babysitter Corey and Devyn was busy also with work this whole week so I had to hire one for just this week. We left so I can go home and so I can get ready for work (skip 12:20) I hear a knock I grab my stuff and I grab the paper that I wrote to leave for the babysitter I open the door. She turns and looks at me "oh hey are you Colby?" "Yes that's me" I nod and we shake hands "Author is watching cartoons and here is a list for what to do" I hand her the paper "Oh Okay thanks this will be very helpful" she scans through it "okay I have to leave so wait what's your name I forgot" "oh my name is Britney" she smiles I nod "okay my boyfriend should be home around 4:30 and he'll pay you your money" "okay cool" she walks inside and closes the door. I get in my car and drive to work.

Author pov 

I see the lady walk over and sit next to me "hello little guy" she smiles "hi" I say not taking my eyes off the tv. "Oh watching spongebob my nephew watches this" I nod "So what's your name?" I found it weird mom said my name to her already "Author" I say "Author that's a good name" I see that she looks around and sees a picture of Me Mommy and Dad,she grabs it and states at the picture. I feel uncomfortable so I get up and go to mommy and dad's room and shut the door, and I lock it and turn the t.v. on in on here and curl up in the bed with the blankets. I hear a knock "Author open this door" I look at the door "I want to be left alone for a bit" I say "Author I'll make you a deal I'll leave you alone if you unlock the door" I think about it.

I walk over and open it she smiles "thank you okay before I go do you want anything to eat or drink?" "I want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with milk" I say "okay keep the door open okay so I can keep an eye on you" she turns and walks in the kitchen. Dad said he was gonna come over for lunch but he didn't show. I'm scared. (Skip 3:50) this day the babysitter did leave Me alone,but she took a picture of dad she hid in the bathroom and when she left the bathroom she was on her phone. I then hear the door open I hop off the bed and go see who it is and it's dad. "Dad!" I run over and hug him "You smell dad" I laugh he laughs as well "I know its because I was fixing cars" the lady walks in "Hey" Brennen looses his smile "Author go to your room and close the door" dad tells me I nod and leave. 

Brennen Pov 

I hear Author door shut "why the hell are you Here? How'd you find me?" She smirks your "boyfriend" called me and said if I can watch Author and you'd pay me,and I know what I want" "Your sick get out" I walk past her to the bedroom. She follows me "but I haven't gotten my payment" she walks swaying her hips "leave I'll send it to you and you won't need to be watching Author after" I say I grab her arm and drag her outside and about to close the door,but Colby pulls in I smirk  he walks by Britney "hey thanks for watching Author" "it'll be her last" I go down the stairs and give Colby a kiss "Brennen you stink" Colby tells me "I know" Britney walked away "Don't come back or I'll call the cops" Colby looks at me "What why" I sigh " she was a hoe I meet in a elevator as I was gonna meet you and she started flirting and all that" "really?" Colby looks at her and makes a mad face it looks funny/cute "let's go back inside" I say. Colby nods and pulls me and rushes inside Colby pulls me close to him and kisses me I smile into the kiss I break "is someone jealous" "Yes". He says "Well you don't have to be your the only one for me" I forgot about Author "Author you can come out now!" I yell he opens his door and runs over to me and Colby and hugs us.
