It was eleven forty-five by the time Adoette showed up at the Clearwater residence and she noticed the vehicles of Sam Uley's 'cult' in the yard and driveway. Adoette walked up to the front door knocking as she always did before Sue yelled a 'come in'. Adoette opened the door and smiled at Sue and the group of males and Leah sitting in the living room.
"So what did you need my help with Sue?" Adoette asks and Sue smiles.
"I was wondering if you could work on the garden for me." Sue says smiling when the girls face showed excitement.
"You might want gloves." Leah says and Adoette just smiles at her shaking her head.
"You know I prefer to feel the soil." Adoette replies and quickly runs out to the backyard where the garden lies.
"She doesn't seem at all bothered by you guys ignoring her." Sam says looking at Seth and Leah.
"She's never been that way. If I'm being honest I think she knows something is up and since she so deeply believes the Quileute legends I think that's what she is suspicious of. She knows we're not a cult." Seth replies and the pack stiffens at the thought of her knowing.
Adoette started immediately on her work in the garden loving the fact that she could be outside and touch the soil. She sighed in content and continued to work on fixing the plants, a smile never leaving her face.
"I have to go get something upstairs. Seth could you go ask Adoette is she wants something to drink?" Sue asks her son and he nods.
Seth stands up, walking to the backyard and he opens the door stepping outside.
"Hey Adoette, my mom wants to know if you'd like something to drink." Seth says and Adoette looks up at him, making eye contact causing him to freeze as a future with Adoette and him flashing through his mind.
"Tell her I said no thank you." Adoette replies and he nods his head rushing into the house a look of shock and panic on his face.
"What's wrong?" Sam asks and Seth stutters trying to come up with the right words.
"She's my imprint." Seth says.
