Adoette kissed Seth on the cheek before walking into her house only to be dragged by her mom into the basement and a gasp leaves her lips.
"Mom what the hell?" Adoette questions and her mom takes a deep breath.
"Honey sit down." Marie orders and Adoette complies.
"Ok. Now what is happening?" Adoette says again and her mother sighs.
"Ok. Throughout the generations every female on my side of the family has been gifted. Most of us have different powers and some are shared or passed on. You have the power that your great grandmother, the woman who raised me, had. She had the ability to access and control the Earth in a way no one else could. Most of us only control the basic four elements and others can control elements that normally aren't thought of first. For example, I can control a women's fertility. You however have the same gift as your grandmother and I can tell it will be just as strong as hers was. You will gain control of it but for now you need to find something that keeps you grounded. Something that will stop the headaches if you are near it. Do you have any idea what that is?" Marie explains and Adoette nods at her mothers question.
"Well what is it?" Marie asks impatiently and Adoette sighs.
"It's not a what. It's a who." Adoette states.
