Five; Basically A Soulmate

"Imprinting is something that happens to all shape-shifters. Sam, Jared, Paul, and Embry have found theirs. I recently did too. It feels like they are holding you on Earth instead of gravity. They become your whole world and you would do anything for them. Sometimes it messes up relationships like it did with Sam and Leah. He imprinted on Emily, but Leah is slowly getting over it. Leah's even going to be a bridesmaid." Seth explains and Adoette furrows her eyebrows.

"Ok but what does this have to do with me?" Adoette questions and Seth takes another deep breath.

"Y-You're my imprint Adoelle." Seth says and Adoette just sits there in shock which causes Seth to freak out.

"Oh my gosh. I shouldn't have said anything. You probably hate me now. I'm so sorry! I really shouldn't have-" Seth is cut off by Adoette pressing her lips against his in a quick peck.

"It's fine Seth. I just had to process it. I promise you that I won't ever be scared of you or being your imprint." Adoette says smiling at him.

"Good." Seth says smiling at her and pulling her down to lay with him.

Adoette smiles while her head rested on Seth's chest and he played with her hair. He pulled her up a little further so her head was resting right where she could hear his heartbeat.

"Hey lovebirds, you're wanted downstairs." Paul says to them and Seth nods.

"Let's go." Seth says standing up and pulling Adoelle with him.

They walk down the hallway holding hands and they walk down the stairs together. The pack smiles as they see them come down the stairs holding hands.

Sue squeals and Adoette laughs while Seth groans throwing his head back.

"This is so adorable!" Leah shouted and Adoette jumped slightly.

"You're kind of jumpy." Paul states and Adoette blushes.

"Um yeah." Adoelle replies and Seth smiles at her, squeezing her hand lightly.

"So how did you react?" Embry asks and Adoette smiles.

"I actually asked him. He just told me about the whole imprinting thing." Adoelle replies and the others just kind of stare at her in shock.

"Boys you're creeping her out." Sue says and they snap out of their trance.

"You seem to really enjoy nature." Sam states and she smiles at him, nodding.

"I've always wanted to be outside for as much and as long as possible. That's actually how I met Seth. Obviously I knew he existed, but I had never met him personally. That is until he freaking kicked a soccer ball at me." Adoette says and the pack laughs.

"How did he manage to do that?" Jared asks.

"Let's not talk about that." Seth says rushed.

"Let's talk about it." Leah says and Adoette laughs.

"Please don't." Seth wines.

"Too bad." Adoette replies and he groans.

"Well he didn't hit my head or anything but he did hit my leg very forcefully," Adoelle starts saying, "Anyways, he was playing soccer and I was walking past his house to go somewhere that I don't remember and he happened to kick the ball my way which hit my leg and I almost fell." Adoette finished.

"What do you mean almost fell?" Embry asks and both Adoette and Seth blush.

"W-Well he caught me." Adoette stutters and the pack all coo.

"S-Stop." Seth stutters out and the pack  coos again.

"L-Let's go." Seth says grabbing Adoette's hand and pulls her upstairs to his room.

Seth lays on the bed and pulls her down on top of him resting her head on his chest so she can hear his heartbeat. Seth wraps his arm around her upper back and holds her there.

"Go to sleep Elle." Seth whispers using her nickname.

Adoette smiles lightly hugging Seth tighter. And that's how they fell asleep. In each others arms.

"This is so cute. Someone take a picture." Leah demands and Sue takes a photo.

"We're so going to tease him about this." The pack says at once, sharing high fives.
