Jessany's P.O.V.
Thankfully my first day had been on a Friday, so I could just stay home and not have to deal with Jayson. Except for the fact that he had been blowing up my phone all weekend. I don't even know where he got my number from.
It's literally been nothing except "hey, why won't you answer me?" Or "hey, answer your damn phone."
I'd honestly just wished that he'd leave me alone.
But yet, here we are, on Monday. Time for school. Yay.
I'd got up, gone for my daily run, and went back home to shower before I had to actually leave.
After finally getting to school, everyone was staring at me. Like I'm some kind of freak.
I haven't done anything. I'd never texted him back. Never even saved his phone number in my phone. But did they know that? No, they didn't because they know absolutely nothing about me.
I know I had to know to math class, but I really didn't want to, because of the fact that I'd had to deal with him sitting right behind me. Bothering me.
"Hey doll face. Don't you know how to pick up a phone?" Jayson came up behind me.
"First of all, if you could cut it out with the "doll face" and second of all, I know how to answer my phone. I just don't want to answer your texts." Id tried to blow him off, be he wouldn't let me.
"Well why don't you text me back sometime then?"
I was kind of disgusted, but I'd just kind of looked at him and said, "I'll think about it."
"Well..." he'd said, "I really hope that you think about it, doll face. I'd like to show you around a bit."
"I said I'd think about it, but that doesn't mean that it's going to happen." I replied.
"Oh it will, sweetheart. Trust me." He'd said back to me.
After that, I'd walked away from him, but really, even though I know I shouldn't have, I turned around and I'd seen him talking to another girl.
He couldn't have waited until I'd at least left the hall that we were in?
Jayson's P.O.V.
"I really just wish you'd leave me alone. I don't want to talk to you, Hailey. Nothing's going on between us, and there never will be." I'd said to her.
As I went to walk away, I'd seen Jessany looking right at me, with what looked like disappointment on her face. Which honestly kind of hurt me, even though she clearly doesn't care for me.
Jeremy's P.O.V.
"He's really just not worth it. Even if you say you don't have feelings for him, I think deep down, you actually might, and there's really nothing wrong with that. We can't help who we have feelings for. So whether or not y'all get together, I'm always going to be your cousin, and I'm always going to be right behind you supporting your every decision. " And with that, Jeremy just looked at me and smiled.
