As Louis was putting some hair gel in attempt to make a messy fringe, his phone buzzed on his pocket.

" Melissa : Lou, would there be a gig tonight? (: xx "

.

He smiles like an idiot at his phone, and lets out a little gasp.

" Louis : Yeah. There's this place downtown called the 'Webster Hall'. Want me to pick you up? :)) x "

He paces back and forth while waiting for her reply.

" Melissa : Actually, it's Zayn who told me about the gig at the place. As much as I want you to pick me up, I can't. I'm still at a Photoshoot. :/ "

His smile is replaced with a frown at the mention of Zayn.

" Louis : Aww, that sucks. Well, see you later at 8, I guess? "

" Melissa : 8 sounds great :)) Cyaaa! "

He puts his phone back at his pocket as he continues messing his hair.

Louis drives off to the club, pulling over at the curb. He hums along at the song he has been practicing for weeks.

The club had a lot of people lining through, he goes over to Liam, the bouncer. "Hey!", Louis greets him.

"Yo! They're all waiting for you backstage. Go through the back door." Liam instructed and Louis nodded.

He pulls over the hood of his sweater to his head and puts his cold hands to his sweater to keep them warm. He walks over at the door and takes a deep breath before turning the silver knob.

"Louis! What's up? Been a week, aye?", Perrie greets Louis, giving him a hug.

He lets go and closes the door behind him, "Yeah, it has.", he says, giving her a warm smile.

"So, you've got 3 minutes before you go out there. The customers aren't really demanding for something so far, so you can go sing whatever you want. 2 songs.", she says before heading out.

Louis walks over to a mirror, checking out his self once more. He goes over to the side of the stage, careful not to be seen and scans over the crowd, looking for a sign of Florence. He sighed when there was none and goes back, waiting for his turn.

Perrie calls over at Louis, startling him in surprise. "Wow, you scared me."

She rolls her eyes before gesturing at the stage, "You're on."

He takes his sweater off, leaving him in a blue button-up shirt and a pair of cream-coloured shorts. He grabs the guitar from behind and goes over to the stage, changing the mood of the bar to a very ecstatic one. Girls would scream, calling out for his name and guys would give out hoots. He scans over at the crowd, finding for one person, but unfortunately, she was nowhere to be found.

He slings over the strap of his acoustic guitar before going by the microphone. "So, how are all of you?", he asks the crowd and everybody went wild. "Okay, so I'm gonna sing. . .", he trails off, a hint of British accent present in his voice causing the crowd to cheer massively but it didn't bother him. Because his eyes went straight to the entrance.

He went still in his place for a moment as he tries to take in the view infront of him: Melissa with Zayn, their hands intertwining with one another's. He goes back to reality as Perrie snapped him out of his thoughts by calling for his name behind the curtains.

"Louis!", Perrie scowls from the side of the stage.

"Oh-uh. . . I'm gonna sing 'I Wish'. I've been working out in this for a while so I hope you guys like it.", he smiles as he tries to distract his mind from the view.
