Louis pulls over at the curb and rushes over to the passenger's side, opening the door for Florence. "So, this is my apartment"
She looks around as she takes in the view of her surroundings, "Nice place you got here. Much more better than mine"
"Well, the location is. But your place is hella rad, talking about the massive chandeliers you got and expensive furnitures", he smirks at her and takes her hand.
Florence's face flushes as she felt Louis' hand slipping into hers, "Oops, sorry. I-uh, didn't meant to do that. I mean, I didn't know what came into my mind and--", he says frantically as he lets go of her hand but he was cut off when she holds his hand.
He stood there in place, stunned "Nah, it's fine!", she giggles and he smiles.
For once, she never felt safe like this before.
For once, he never felt any more alive like this before.
And for a moment, they never felt any contented and happy in their life like this before.
She looks up at him, a small smile appearing on the side of her lips and he smiles warmly down at her, the crinkles on the side of his eyes are prominent.
"The sea has its pearls", he says as he takes her another hand into his, facing her fully.
She looks up the sky for a moment before looking at him back down, "The heaven has its stars"
And this time, he's the one who trailed off the words that was meant to be used by her, "But my heart..."
"My heart has its love", they both say in unison as he takes a step closer to her, giving her a small kiss on the forehead as she sheepishly smiles, his cheeks flushing deep crimson.
He lets go of her another hand, "So, let's go in shall we?"
"Sure", she beams as they both walk their way to the apartment.
"I just live at the first floor, so we can just use the staircase", he states and she nods.
"So, I figured out that maybe we could go to 'Marquee'", she suggests as they walk on the stairs.
"Hmmm... Marquee sounds great but I think it'd probably take time to let ourselves in there, it's packed", he says an she shakes her head.
"No, don't worry about that. I know how to get in my way at clubs here", she says and he nods as he takes the keys from his pocket. He slides the key in and she gasps.
"Wow, this is cool!", she exclaims as she takes in the view of his modernised-looking apartment.
"Meh, not as cool as yours", he sighs as he takes his t-shirt off.
"You can totally see the whole New York here!", she beams as she goes into the large glass window and she looks back at him, only to see Louis being half-naked with tattoos on his chest and arms.
"Oh-uh...", she says as she turns her back, her cheeks flushing.
"No, it's alright", he says and she turns to face him. She shyly walks over to him, as she takes in the mesmerising view of him.
"You got tattoos? I never actually thought this could be that many, except for your arms", she mutters as she traces the ink on his chest, causing him to chuckle slightly.
"Remember you told me you got a tattoo when we were at high school? I actually thought it would be so cool if I get one too so I got my first here in New York and it seems amazing having random crap all over your body", he states.
"Oh, I only have 1 though, the same one that I told you", she states as she puts her hand on her hipbone over her dress and he smiles.
She puts her hand back to his chest, slowly tracing the ink as he looks at her, "It is what it is", she mutters under her breath as she runs her finger over the phrase.
"Oh-uh, sorry", she says as she takes her hand off, looking away and flushing.
"It's fine, really" he says as he goes over into his closet, leaving her alone at the living room.
She sighs as she makes her way at the large window again, taking in the good view of the city lights. She flinches as a hand touches her shoulder and she looks back.
"Let's go now, shall we?", Louis says, dressed in a leather jacket with a white shirt underneath.
"Sure", she says as he takes her hand into his. She looks up at him and he just smiled down at her.
They both walk over to his car and he opens the door for her. "Thanks", she mutters.
"Don't mention it", he smiles as he closes it and head off to the driver's seat and gets in.
Louis drives off and Florence turns the radio on, and The Fray's Look After You plays along.
"Remember your obsession back at high school over The Fray?", she teases and he rolls his eyes at her.
"Ha-ha, real funny", he says and she laughs harder.
"Well, remember when I got you a ticket for one of their concerts and you can't stop screaming and thanking me", she states and he smiles over the memory.
"Yeah, right. I must admit, that was one of the best times of my life"
They both hum along the song but Florence stopped to hear his voice. She looks out on the window, her cheeks blushing.
"Here we are", he says as he pulls over and goes out to open the door for her.
"Thanks", she mutters and he smiles at her.
"I'm glad there aren't paparazzi out here", she huffs as she looks around.
"Wait, you are being followed by paparazzi?", he exclaims and she nods.
"Yeah, I mean not all the time but yeah they do, especially when I'm with Zayn", she states.
"Oh! No wonder why I sometimes see you in the papers, I mean you model for famous brands... Hmmm, Melissa West sounds better than Florence Scolinski", he says and she just shrugs as they both walk their way to the entrance.
The line was long but Florence goes over to the bouncer, whispering something and the door was opened for the both of them. She smiles at the bouncer before heading off, "C'mon", she gestures for Louis and he follows.
A random mix of some song is blasting and people are dancing hard, mostly grinding. They both walk their way down the small stairs and he looks around finding himself grinning as he sees the large disco ball hanging.
"One cherry vodka", Florence tells the bartender and she turns to Louis, "What would you have?"
"Hmm... I can have a cherry vodka too", he smirks as she orders for another one.
Couple of seconds later, the drink is served infront of them and Florence gulps hers. Louis brings the glass to his lips, the sweetness of cherry invading his mouth but a sting passes by at his throat.
"Do you want to dance?", Florence smirks at him.
There is no way he can say no this girl.
