Chapter 12 - Time Has Come

7:45 came quicker than I wanted it to. I stood looking at myself in my full length mirror. The back of my dress was a corset and then it puffed out at the hips and went down to the floor. The front was dark green with simple jewels on. It was beautiful, with my hair up in a scruffy bun and my make up done by Narcissa, I felt like I was getting married.

"Casey darling, are you ready to come down". I heard Lucius say from behind the door.

"Yes Lucius, but first could you come in and help tie the corset a bit tighter please?" I asked him.

I heard the door open and Lucius walked in wearing his finest black robes and his snake cuff links. Oh how he adored Slytherin.

"You really are a beautiful girl Casey, I'm glad that you are with my lovely son, he deserves someone as wonderful as yourself." Lucius said to me whilst fixing my dress. I looked at him in the mirror, I'm not with Draco? Is he having some joke? What?..

"Erm, Mr Malfoy, I think you've got the wrong end of the wand, I'm not with Draco - I must admit, I have very strong feelings for him - but we are only friends" I replied with uncertainty in my voice.

"For now Casey, for now. Are you ready to go?" He said with his signature smirk, just like Draco's.

I grabbed his arm and he led me to the Dining hall. As I walked in, I noticed there must of been around 300 people here. The table had been moved and the room look spectacular. It looked festive and the noise of people talking, laughing and the sound of music made me happy. I could see Draco in the distance. He was wearing a full 3 piece suit and he was looking YUM! He smirked at me and walked towards me. He embraced me in a hug.

"You look beautiful Casey, this dress looks amazing on you." I could feel colour rising to my face as he kissed me forehead. He led me to his mother and a women who looked absolutely crazy. Her crazy brown hair and her thick black eye liner really stood out. However, I knew who she was as we got closer, and that cackle. Bellatrix Lestrange.

"Aunt Bella, this is Casey and she's my girlfriend." Draco said and looked at me with a Play-Along-Now-Or-I'll-Hex-You look.

"Oh, your the girl who is getting her mark tonight yes? Well Draco, you've picked well my dear nephew. Pureblood, Death Eater and a gorgeous girl. Welcome to the family Casey Wirral."

I thanked her she handed me a drink. We spoke for around 1 hour and if I'm honest, we have lots of things in common, and the more we spoke, the less nervous I was of becoming a Death Eater. Our chat was interrupted by Draco.

"Case dear, I have someone here who wants to see you." He said before stepping aside. There she was, April Duke stood in front of me.

"April? What are you doing here? Are you a Death Eater? Is that why you always wear long sleeved tops? Explain now." I demanded and she chuckled and nodded.

"Oh My Dear Voldy, thank god I have someone to relate to. I get mine at midnight tonight, so in 3 hours. Oh the joys! We both laughed and talked for about 2 hours. Draco had gone off to talk to his family, I checked the clock on the wall, 11:30, not long now. April had just excused herself to speak to her dad, so I went to find Snape. I found him sat at a table drinking something strong.

"Wirral? Are you ok? Is something up?" He questioned me. I shook my head before speaking.

"I just needed someone to speak too, who would actually understand me. People say that you don't understand much, but I know better than that. Anyway, are you sure I'm cut out to be a Death Eater? I mean, I have so many similarities to Bellatrix?"

He laughed at me before saying; "if you are similar to Bella, then you are a natural born Death Eater. Now come on, we've only got 10 minutes and we need to go to the Study where Lucius and the Dark Lord will be. Remember Casey, stay strong." I nodded at him and we both went to the study.
