Chapter 9 - Happy

It had been a whole week since my incident with Draco and I'd been trying my hardest to ignore him but it's hard I suppose when you share the same common room..

April knew all about what had happen and she was ready to hex him as soon as she set her eyes on him.

*FLASHBACK*

I was walking back down from the Astronomy Tower, creating a sea of tears as I walked. My face stinging due to him backhanding me, it bloody hurt. I heard my name and I didn't want to even stop to see who it was, I thought it was Malfoy.

"CASEY! CASEY, LISTEN TO ME! ITS APRIL, CASEY?!"

I turned around to see her pleasing face, I ran straight up to her and just flung my arms around her and cried in her arms, she comforted me and I felt like I had a best friend, In fact, she was my best friend.

"Casey, what's up? what's happened? Please example to me?"

I looked up at her and pulled her to an abandoned class room.

"He slapped me April, Draco slapped me because I broke the kiss up between me and him. I'm confused April, I don't know how I feel about him. Remember when I told you all about what happened with the memory, well he told me all of it, he explained about my mother and death eaters and I just kissed him. I don't know of if I did it because I was upset, happy, in love? I don't know"

She comforted me like a best friend does, I knew deep down that she was fuming.

"I'm going to fucking kill that bastard! WHERE IS HE?!" April raised her voice as she let get anger out.

"No April, he can't know I've told you, I'm scared April and that's that."

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"Casey, you're going to be late for Snape's lesson if you don't hurry up and it will be the 2nd them this week" April said whilst shaking me to get me off the bed.

"Yes yes, alright I'm coming, calm it."

She chuckled and we both walked down to Potions, I wasn't too keen on Potions even though I was really good at it. We got down there with about 2 minutes to spare, however Snape was early as usual.

"Enter in silence and line up at the back of the room. From now on, we will be having assigned seats and you will work in pairs. They will stay in your houses."

Brilliant, bloody brilliant. (bit of sarcasm there, if you didn't catch on). Partners, what if I had to go with..no, I'm not going to this of that. Not that I had much time anyway as Snape's long voice bellowed through the room.

"ON THE LEFT, POTTER AND GRANGER AT THE FRONT. DUKES AND ZABINI BEHIND THEM. WEASLEY AND LONGBOTTOM BEHIND THEM AND WIRRAL AND MALFOY AT THE BACK."

Great, absolutely magnificent. I have to sit next to him! I looked at him and I swears I saw a glimmer of happiness but it soon disappeared, but it was replaced with something I thought was weird. It was replaced with guilt and sorrow.

"Casey" he whispered to me. I just ignored him, he'd hurt my feelings so much, I just couldn't keep him off my mind though.

"Cas, please I'm really sorry. I was just angry that I'd let you slip away so easily again, I've liked you ever since our childhood, and when you left, I never knew if I would see you again. Then mother said you were coming here and I knew I had to tell my feelings for you. When I first saw you, I remembered how beautiful you were, except your become even more beautiful and you've grown up and I never want to lose you ever again"
I could feel the tears threatening to leave my eyes as he whispered to me. I couldn't cry, not here, not in the middle of potions. I coughed before turning to face him.

"Dray, I'm sorry. I really am sorry."

He looked at me before smiling and standing up to get the ingredients whilst I set up the cauldron, the lesson carried on and it was such fun.

I knew that I had finally got my Draco back and I was happy.
