Anaya's pov

{3 years later}

"Mommmmy!" A little cute boy squeals as he comes running towards me.
"My babbyyyy." I mimic back and hug him. This little thing in my arms is one of the cutest things that has happened to me.
The other one is standing right behind my baby. Harris.
"Have you looked after Aryan properly?" I ask Harris and when all I get is a mischievous smirk from Harris, I turn to Aryan.

"Aryan? Has your baba been looking after you well?" I ask.
"Mommy, baba was naughty and mean." Aryan lisps and in return Harris gasps.
He stalks towards us jokingly and Aryan starts giggling.
"Mommy mommy run or baba's going to get us." Which resulted in us running around the manor with Harris chasing us but alas all the running came to an end when Harris gets ahold of Aryan and starts tickling him.

I watch the father and son play happily and something stabs me in my heart. Inconveniently my phone starts ringing and so I leave the room, to not disturb the fun.

"Yes Amir?" I say to my brother over the phone.

"My sister, you're alive!" He sarcastically replies.

"I'm soooooo busy here it's unbelievable, you know how Aryan is."

"Well Bhaiya is annoyed that you're not ringing us, the only thing that's keeping him sane is us telling him we're meeting you tomorrow at the charity gala."

"Well you guys are too overprotective because I ring bhaiya every two days but clearly that's not enough." I sigh, fondly.

"No it's not... Anaya.... Are you alright? Ermmm... His article came in the papers today."

"Yes I'm fine.. He was only voted 'most eligible bachelor of California'."

"Well he doesn't deserve it." He replies with clear disdain.

"Amir I really have to go now, I think Harris is calling me." I lie and we exchange goodbyes.

Lying to my brother is never a good thing but I can't talk about HIM. It's been three years and I'm happy to have him out of my way and life which is why I moved to New York, only if I could be 100% sure about that.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Says Harris interrupting my inner battle and holding a snoring Aryan.

"Oh Aryan's asleep. Well it's way past his bedtime let me put him to bed." I say quickly and take him.

............

I sneak downstairs and tiptoe into the kitchen to grab the popcorn. Inserting it into the microwave I do a little twirl and jump.

"God Harris you scared me there." I say dramatically.
"Hmmm! Popcorn I love popcorn."
"You sound like Aryan." I comment, humorously.

We sit sharing the popcorn between us but Harris doesn't open the tv and neither do I.
"So what's the answer?" He asks.
"The answer to what?"
"I asked you before what you were thinking about, why did you leave the room?"

"Oh Amir rang and so I was just thinking about the gala. It's been two months since I've met them."

"You must be excited?"

"Very." I reply and the he opens the tv. I sigh in relief but knowing that alas I couldn't avoid his questions forever.

"Netflix?" He questions.
"And chill." I reply.

"What do you want to watch?"

"Hmm my friends recommended that I watch teen wolf."
"Didn't that start in 2011, but if you want to watch it we will." He says, and I shrug in return.

After endless episodes of teen wolf and millions of groans from Harris, he falls asleep and I smile knowing that he didn't want to watch in the first place....

Hey sorry for this chapter it's just kind of a filler chapter... And I know I haven't updated in like for ages but I couldn't, toooo much work!! I finally found the time though.
Till next time (which will be soon I promise)
