What is my name? Name? I don't understand. A name is something you call someone? What does that mean?

You give names at birth? So it's a ceremony?

A label. You give everyone a label at birth. No, I don't have a label or a name. Younglings recognize their parents before they know any names. Names and labels are not needed. We just recognize each other. Same as your human children before they can speak.

You want to give me a name? I think I should like to name myself.
See, I am concerned with who, but you humans need a "what". You classify everything and anything you can; everything needs a name and a label, if not multiple.

So to ease your mind, let us answer "what" and move on. You may call me Con. That will answer part of "what".

You don't like that? Ah, you associate con with "fake". You must remember it also means "to examine", which I think fits this situation perfectly. We are examining each other, are we not?

See, you give every word a definition, yet a word can have multiple definitions and a definition can have multiple words. This is why labels are pointless and useless; they are opinionated and only apply in certain situations. They can change at a moment's notice.

You view me as fake, yet we are examining the similarities and differences between our races. I think the name Con perfectly applies.
