Prologue

Riley's P.O.V:

Monday. Graduation Day. I was awoken by a beam of light hitting against my face.

I groan and roll out of bed. As I'm stretching myself out, I look over and see my phone go off. I get a text from Cassidy.

Geez! There's something new!

Cassidy😕:Hey Riles! I can't go out with you and Julia!

Riles: Why? Hanging out with Reece?

Cassidy😕: No! It's actually George! He's so sweet!

Riles: Mhm...Mentioned this before love...

Cassidy😕: Is something wrong?

Riles: Nope. Everything is going JUST great. See ya around.

Cassidy😕: K bye!

I saw this coming..She's always with them! And in all honesty, it's pissing me off! And Julia too!

After venting to myself about how HORRIBLE Cassidy has been lately towards us, I get up and take a warm shower.

Why does Cass have to be like this? She was never like this before...Maybe it's just the boys..I've only met them like once or twice. They seem pretty chill..And they're not ugly! They're also very attractive...I have no problem with them!

As I get out of the shower, I change, do my makeup, and decided to keep my glasses on. I hate how big they are. But it's just that I'm too lazy to put on my contacts.

I hurry down the stairs and grab my keys. I totally missed breakfast and didn't even tell my mum goodbye.

It's not like she talks to me anyway..I'm not even sure that she'll make it to my Graduation!

When I arrive at school around 7:00, I see Julia, my BEST Friend! We've known each other since Grade 5. She's honestly the best person to be around!

"Hey Riley! Ready to leave this hell hole?!" She says jokingly and full of excitement.

"HELL YEAH!" I say, raising my voice a bit.

We hug and then walk around school for a bit until it reached 8am sharp.

"Is Cassidy still coming?" She asked me.

"No." I answer bluntly.

"Not surprised." She scoffed.

"She's hanging out with George after Graduation."

"Seriously?! We've been with her ever since her mother died! And now she's gonna ditch us on THE LAST DAY we see her for the guys?!"

"Seems like it.." I sigh, walking behind her down the stairs.

"But hey! We still have each other!"

"True true! Have you finished that song?"

"Almost!"
